I am dabbling with making a new skin. I am trying to format the date display to read 'March 29' instead of what I have now which is 'Wednesday, March 29, 2006' . Can someone tell me what controls the way the date string is formatted?
I've searched through previous posts but have been unable to find any comskip settings for us in the UK with recordings made off freeview digital channels. Does anyone know if anyone has done the tuning & published the settings that work anywhere.
For example user has one DVB (-T/-S/-C/whatever) capture card. There are many channels inside one transport stream and he/she wants to record from one channel and watch/record the other one (limit is the count of channels inside one TS). So, GBPVR opens DVB device, tunes into desired transponder, opens stream and parses requested parallel PS and saves them to disk.
If GBPVR could do this, I guess GBPVR will be the ultimate PVR software, as none of the ones on market right now could do this!
It would be extremely nice if prescheduled recording starts, GBPVR looks the length of the show and the quality settings and reserves that much space from filesystem. If the data recorded is less it releases the remaining reservations. If the data exceeds reserve then it reserves more space by 100MB chunks.
This feature would have benefit when using more than one tuner at a time. It is something like MS have done with its MCE MS-DVR format.
This feature/option should be switchable on/off from config.
Is there any way I could see what component of windows prevents computer going to standby when more than 5min idle? Before upgrading to latest version of GBPVR it was all ok. With updating gbpvr I also updated Cyberlink PowerDVD and now computer won't go into standby any more. I can't figure out why?
Sub: Is System menu continuously (with interval) monitoring free space or only when I go into this menu? Does it close all filesystem handles straight after quering filesystem info? As I'm using UNC paths and if handles are left open then this prevents windows from going into standby. But if it closes all etc. then I have still no idea...
I have pinnacle 310i
my problem is:
run the search channel but not find any channel, the signal is good because with other program is ok have any idea for me
thank you
Interested in this one, sub? When playing mp3 files, moving the cursor to another title and pressing the OK button causes the new title to play. But with wma files, doing the above results in the same/previous title restarting. Pressing 'stop' before the new title results in the new title playing as expected.
I've defined in config as PVR150 capture device #1 (also GBPVR config detects this card when tick show only detected cards). No problems with this one. Defined EPG source as XMLTV.
Defined second card (Hauppauge HVR1300 analog part) as source #1 and as Hauppauge Roslyn (GBPVR config card autodetection won't detect this card). When submitting OK it warns me about missing drivers(?!). EPG source left as none (as I already got EPG via PVR150 definition).
Channel list is the same for both cards.
When scheduling recording, it starts using PVR150. When going to LiveTV GBPVR warns me that no capture source is available and offers to cancel my request or to watch currently recording show (from PVR150). It does not start using Roslyn (or HVR1300 analogue).
