  BaseSkin GBPVR
Posted by: MixMan - 2006-03-27, 02:35 PM - Forum: Community Announcements - Replies (2)

Please try this very small footprint skin and comment the XML layout.
I would like to have some feeback on the graphical "element positioning"

The skin supports standard GBVPR features and no plugins.
The skin is also compatible with next version of Advisor ThemePacks.
So there will be around 10-15 different graphical layouts avaliable.

"Recording Soon" in Main Menu now only shows ONE Entry (96.12)
Posted by: TuckerTFT - 2006-03-27, 02:07 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

Since upgrading to v96.12 I'm finding that the "Recording Soon" display on the "Main Menu" now only displays ONE upcoming recording. It no longer cycles through all of the recordings coming up within the next 24 hours or so.

I have confirmed that this happens when using the standard "Blue" skin.

Is this configurable anywhere?

  Dual Capture cards.
Posted by: RattyDAVE - 2006-03-27, 01:44 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (9)

I have had a SINGLE capture card system working perfectly with no problems.

Now I have added another card (Both are PVR 150s) I am unable to watch another channel (on card 1) while recording another (on card 2)

On card 1 I have :-

BBC1
BBC2
ITV
Chan 4
Five
Sky one
.....

On card 2 I have :-
BBC1
BBC2
ITV
Chan 4
Five
Sky one
.....

They are the same channels just two differnt sources. I should be able to Watch BBC1 while Recording BBC2...

Just does not seem to work.

Any help would be greatfully received!

DAVE

  Skype Plugin (VoIP Plugin)
Posted by: sxt173 - 2006-03-27, 12:10 PM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

It would be nice to have a plugin for Skype or other major VoIP service (I think MediaPortal has this).

So, it would show via popup if you have a SkypeIn call, let you make SkypeOut call, show your contact list, etc... All from within GBPVR, so you don't have to close out of application to use Skype. Would be killer to have Skype show up on flat-panel TV :p

  Nebula won't find channels
Posted by: cplevin - 2006-03-27, 11:33 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (9)

GB-PVR looks great, but can't tune this Nebula card. The Nebula software and drivers detect all channels OK, but after removing the nebula drivers and replacing with their BDA drivers GB-PVR won't find any channels. The card is detected and BDA drivers selected, but the tuning process(All regions all channels) detects nothing.

I'm using the latest versions of GB-PVR and the Nebula BDA drivers, running on an Athlon 1.8.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Chris

  2 recording locations - possible?
Posted by: nurowolf - 2006-03-27, 10:11 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Is it possible to set more than one recording directory within GB-PVR?

The reason I ask is that my recording Drive is getting close to full and I have a spare another drive that has a fair bit of capacity left. Would very much like to provide a load balancing approach to my recordings on the HD.

Cheers
Nuro

  Questions from a Greenhorn
Posted by: TheReadTed - 2006-03-27, 05:25 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (18)

Mostly for the heck of it I am trying to set up an old PC as a PVR using gbpvr.
Hardware is as follows. K7S5A Pro Mother board, 1gig PC2100, Sound Blaster Audigy, GeForce FX5200 (128MB) AGP video card, Happauge 350. Running on Windows XP Pro SP2 with all security updates + Free AVG anti-virus.

I have gotten as far as downloading program information and recording programs. However when I try and view a recorded program (on my PC) all I see is static and no sound. When I try and view Live TV on (my PC) all I get is black and no sound.

Playback settings are: Video and Audio Decoder: InterVideo NonCSS Videco Decoder , Audio Renderer: SB Audigy Audio [D000]

Overlay Manager

Current setup consists of a 50' coax cable running from test PVR to the wall in the living room. Standard Comcast Cable service.

Any other information needed?

Any suggestions.

Thanks

Ted

  Closed Caption on WinTV-PVR-USB2
Posted by: berdde - 2006-03-27, 04:44 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

How to make GBPVR to record closed caption in WinTV-PVR-USB2? How to make it play? I check the discussion on PVR-350/250 but the solution seems do not work for WinTV-PVR-USB2.

  RenameRecording
Posted by: vistaCA - 2006-03-27, 04:10 AM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (11)

I've haven't been able to get RenameRecording to work, except manually, so I wondered if it had to do with the path.

My recorded shows are on a separate hard drive (f), do I need to include the path in PostProcessing.bat?
