I have had a SINGLE capture card system working perfectly with no problems.

Now I have added another card (Both are PVR 150s) I am unable to watch another channel (on card 1) while recording another (on card 2)

On card 1 I have :-

BBC1
BBC2
ITV
Chan 4
Five
Sky one
.....

On card 2 I have :-
BBC1
BBC2
ITV
Chan 4
Five
Sky one
.....

They are the same channels just two differnt sources. I should be able to Watch BBC1 while Recording BBC2...

Just does not seem to work.

Any help would be greatfully received!

Sorry for the delay.

I have had some other problems and narrowed it down to the (NEW) Volume plugin.

Also had some other problems too to do with the drivers for the PVR 150.

Well in any case it is all working now! I think it was a combination of issues.

Thanks for all the help

Post on the Volume OSD beta test/support thread if you are still having problems with this plugin.

What did you find with your driver issues? I had a problem like what you desicribed and I found an older set of drivers was needed to get it working.

The drivers I am using are :-

Driver Release 2.0.43.24054.PreRelease (02/23/06)

What I did before though was to run HCWCLEAR and cleaned EVERYTHING!

The Steps.

1) Run HCWCLEAR
2) Reboot
3) Cancel the new hardware install.
4) Run HCWCLEAR
5) Switch off
6) Remove all the PVR 150 cards except 1.
7) Power on.
8) At the new hardware detected point it at the 2.0.43.24054.PreRelease (02/23/06) Drivers.
9) Reboot when done.
10) Get GBPVR working with one card. (I am using OVERLAY for a bit as that takes less memory)
11) Switch Off
12) Put in the next card.
13) Go to Step 7!!!!

Also delete the Volume plugin as that was causing problems. I am going to put mine back when I am sure my system is stable.

As for the Volume problem i was getting the error :-

Error creating window handle

I looked in the forums and found this
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=14301

So far so good.. Altho on the analogue channels it starts off fuzzy then "tunes in" any one got an idea to what that is?

Thanks.

Are you 150's the same age? Meaning did you purchase them together or a year apart like I did?
