I have an ACTiSys IR-200L. It installed sucessfully, I was able to send some files from my PDA to the PC, so I know it is ok.
Problem I have is that when training it for my DirecTV box, the remote only sends a signal for 30 seconds or less, seemingly not long enough to make the training program happy.
Is there any workaround, or does anyone else have experience with this?
Everything seems to be working great. About the only complaint I have is that the remote that came with my pvr-150 card starts wintv and not gbpvr. Is there any way to configure it to start the gbpvr menu?

i will update this thread if it happens again, or if the output is b0rked, not sure what the effects of this problem will be.. has anyone ever seen this before? if so, what is the cause/solution? thanks
Suddenly tonight, gb has stopped liking Live Preview mode. I've restarted the GB client, and in 5 minutes I'm going to restart the service (I did it, however no change as deleting the recording stopped the live preview kick out.), but according to the log it looks like its just panicing for no reason. (Live Preview ends about 30 seconds after I go into it. never had a problem previosly, no config changes, except for adding a new recording.)
Deleted the "Cause" of it, being a recording that was scheduled to start 45 minutes later. Now I'm unable to re-add that particular schedule. At least not on a recurring schedule that includes tonights episode. I just checked in the "Pending" area, it shows the show listed, (5 times over, Record All Eps, Todays date, time) however in the Guide it is not highlighted, and the last time I had this apparent effect, GB didn't record the episode. I am able to set up a Single Episode recording however.
Full Logs Attached. (the 3 that I figured were relevent. [service, client, client-native] if you need others, just ask.)
Basically 2 issues:
Why is LivePreview mode stopping suddenly in this particular conditional setup.
What is the combo that prevents a new Recurring Recording config to be built, however not appear to include the episode that the recording was built from? (Built in the guide.)
I generally use the skip forward and backwards buttons on my remote because FF and RW are a bit slow with my hardware.
What I've found is the following during playback:
If I start a recording playing back, and press Skip Forward, the remote goes un responsive and I have to use the keyboard/mouse to regain control.
HOWEVER, if I start a recording playing back and press Pause, then Play I can use the Skip buttons perfectly for the rest of the recording.
I'm at a loss to figure that out. I looked around the support forum here, the closest I found are the GB-PVR losing focus threads. That does not seem to be happening in my case first because all the other keys work (just not the skip keys) and second, I ran in Windowed Mode for a bit to see if I had ANYTHING popping up to shift GBPVR into the background at the start of the recording, nothing was.
I've decided to ditch my WinTV PVR USB2 in favor of a dedicated IR receiver but frankly, I have no idea what to get. Could you guys suggest some alternatives?
First off, I love GB-PVR and myVideos. It works flawlessly with the movies I put into the program, but it can't seem to work with any of my TV shows. I have a folder of Arrested Development shows, and it correctly identified the folder as Arrested Development, complete with thumbnail. However, the folder just contains filenames of the episodes.
I've tried naming them "Arrested Development 302", or "Arrested Development - 3x02" and any combination of the number/x/- combination. Same results every time.
When I view the program info, I get ""Arrested Development 3x01" site:imdb.com - Google Search" showing up as the title. This even happens if I try to scan tv.com for the show info.
