I discovered a not handled exception(?) within the TV-Guide. If i enter the TV-Guide and select a Movie, the additional Window popups. No i go to "record" and choose the quality of record. I press one time left, it goes "high". This is right. If i push "left" again, GB-PVR stops and bring me an error message like something with "Index reached" or so...

My (relevant) Configuration:
1 x eHome Infrared Receiver
1 x IR-Blaster Plugin-Cable (positioned about the IR-LED of my Set Top Box, and plugged in the second port of the eHome Infrared Receiver)
1 x MCE Remote V2 (WinTV PVR-500MCE Edition)

As far as good, now my Software-Configuration:
1 x WinTV PVR-500MCE
1 x Set Top Box from Pace (for digital Cable TV)

The STB is connected to the second S-Video IN of the PVR. The channel is assigned as AUX-2. I can see within GB-PVR without problems over the Set Top Box.

But for what is the IR-Blaster? I thought, if i teach GB-PVR from the CONFIG my STB-Remote, i could easily switch the STB on AUX-2 with my MCE-Remote? For what else is the learning?

At the Moment i have 5 Remotecontrols and aren't happy 'bout that. It would be very helpful if i could control the STB with my MCE Remote.

The GB-PVR Config could understand any Button of the STB-Remote. Configuration was done within seconds, but i did'nt understand for what it is.

I am interested in what people tweak when using a PVR-150 card in their system.
After a default install, what did you change?
Bitrate range:
Variable or constant:
Use FFDShow post processing: If yes, change any settings?
Hauppauge tweaks... spacial, temporial values, GOP, etc.

I am especially interested if you record from standard analogue cable and frequently watch fast moving video, i.e. sports.

I have been trying to get a TwinHan DVB-T card to work with gbpvr.
It works fine with the supplied software and after installing the latest BDA driver from their website it is recognised in the Capture source setting in the gbpvr config and is set Ok.
When I try to update EPG and then map digital channels I get the error message Microsoft MPEG2 demultiplexer is not available on your machine.
I am using the Cyberlink video decoder and audio decoder but the error message still comes up?
Anyone know where to get this file or if there is some other way to get it to work?

Hi Everybody,

I have this issue with the pvr 350 together with the pvr 500 regarding the remote control. IR works great with the 350 only, the 2 together suck, ir.exe does not start.
I read in a post to first deactivate the 500, then start the ir.exe and afterwards reactivate the 500. I tried it, and it seems to work, as long as the system does not shut down/hibernate. Afterwards ir doesn’t work again.

Now I thought about writing a little macro to automatically after restart execute the procedure to deactivate the 500, start ir.exe and reactivate the 500. Would be a nice work around, wouldn’t it?

My question is, has anyone any experiences with this approach, perhaps even a macro to do the task , or a better solution (perhaps automatically change the registry (I have no clue how to perform this))?

Sorry about this, I know I am missing something. The upgrade went great and everything is working fine. But I can't figure out how to get live tv in the preview pane like you have in the release notice screenshot. How do I do that?

viewing my log files I saw that several plugins are now searching for the foreground transpareny node in their skin.xml file.

I think that it would be easier to define this SpecialElement in the BaseSkin.xml file.

Restarted the machine after installing Nvidia updates. I'm running w2k with nothing much more than gbpvr. I just updated to the latest version a weekend ago and have only added showanalyzer. It crashes on occasion, and I'm working on gathering those logs, but this mystifies me. I can restart the recording servie and it records just fine. I even picked a new recording, while watching live tv thank you, and it started and I've watched part of it.

Just an FYI because I don't really mind as long as I'm watching something.

I had this running earlier but another app was having issues, prompting me to change some stuff around to fix it. Now I can't get WebAdmin working right again.
