Added the ability to hold Zap2it Account settings in the config file rather than using the command line.
Added the ability for ZapImport to load data for multiple zap2it accounts to the database. Handy for those with one account for cable and one account for satellite.
Updated the zap2it import process to use data compression during the update to reduce bandwidth usage.
What I'm trying to do is have SA run on all channels except the two "if" statements. That's where I want to list movie channels. However, SA runs on every recording. What have I done wrong (besides trying to edit this )
Hi I am running GB-PVR on Windows XP MCE, PV-150 tuner card. Having trouble getting set up to go. I have my card set up, with the EPG (using Zap2it) full and channels enabled. I am able to start recordings but they don't generate anything, I just end up with a bunch of empty (0 byte) .mpg files? I have been able to succesfully record through MCE in the past and have turned off the MCE services before trying to record with GB-PVR. A quick scan of the logs suggests that GB-PVR thinks that it is recording (start and stop messages appear at the appropriate times) and the System Tray icon does show that it is recording all the way through the show.
Just upgraded to v0.96.8 this afternoon, an in-place upgrade from v0.95.16. I'm noticing that SkipInsteadOfFFRW no longer seems to work, it just FF or RW instead. I've confirmed that the setting is still set to true in config, and I've restarted a few times to no avail. Playback is via MVP using the default dongle.bin. Is anyone else experiencing this, or able to confirm they are not?
On the plus side, FF & RW does seem to work a whole lot better now than it did in the past, but I'm accustomed to ShortSkip now!
Besides having a TV tuner my ATI Theater 550 PRO has S-Video/Composite inputs. How do I configure Capture Source for ATI's S-Video/Composite? I basically want to connect my VCR to the Composite of the ATI 550 Pro. I imaging that I can assign an unused channel to Capture source Composite but I don't know how to configure the Capture Source.

pvr-150 using its remote blaster
tuner input = ota antenna
svideo/audio = Direct STB
Most of my channels come from my Direct TV STB which requires me to use the ir blaster to change the channels. Got this working.
I also have 6 channels that I need to get OTA from the tuner input. Got this working.
Is there a way that I can get both of them to work at the same time ?
In wintv2000, I set up the stb channels under ir_blaster and the ota channels under tuner and they co-exist rather well (-:
In the gbpvr configuration I only see options for external channels or internal tuner, no obivious way (to me) to configure them both together. I know that I am probably overlooking something but can not get it.
Hello, I just built my GBPVR system this weekend out of, more of less, spare components and a spare computer. It's destined to be the livingroom media center. The one thing I am disappointed with is that I have a VGA to S-Video adatper box and it is, well, crummy. Everything else works perfectly.
My PC is a 2.4GHz P4 Gateway with on-board Intel Video. The PCI slots are low profile. I can disable the internal video in BIOS, so there is no problem there.
Does anyone have any recommendations on a low profile video card with S-Video out? I saw several at Newegg.com as low as $26 for some with Nvidia chipsets.
