I have to have my GB-PVR Recording Service logon to my user account to be able to see files on a network share (to my other HTPC). As you know, this great little plugin will not work in that configuration. Is anything being done to correct that? The WAF has been affected several times lately by my rebooting when she is watching something ... Please help!

I was after a complete simple guide to get this working.

I have tried and been reading the forum for answers.

The problem im getting is:
I cannot get it to see any channels using gbpvr.

in fact i have spent days trying and its hopeless.
Software might be free but it should be friendly and work without to much fuss to attract donations.

If there are answers. Could you please also include how to do the fixes.

Question for anyone who has had any experience in this area running these two tuners on their system. Can I just use the IR built into the PVR USB2 to control everything?

I used to have just the PVR USB2 installed on my system, but my brother gave me his PVR 150 so now I can enjoy the benefits of watching and recording at the same time I just need some help in this area because ever since I installed the PVR 150, I can't use the remote.

Just a suggestion, but making somewhat of a 'front-end' plugin for a program like utorrent (or maybe a custom bit-torrent client? I use utorrent because it's lightweight and powerful) that is powered by an RSS feed would be interesting.

That is, if you could go to a 'Torrent' menu, load a specified RSS feed (such as mininova.org), where you could sort out TV/Movie/Music downloads, and select them for download with your remote, as well as view progress and any other necessities.

Any coders out there interesting in taking a crack at it?

It would be nice if the ticker would actually give us the Show Details rather than the filename (see screenshot below).

I got a quick question about xdvd. So I rip a dvd to my Hard drive. And now i have all these vob, ifo, etc files... How do I get xdvd to play this?

This evening I had Timeshift TV running on one PVR150 and a scheduled recording was starting on the second PVR150. I tried to change the TS channel by directly entering the channel number. At this point the TV display froze and I got a "Setup Error" dialog. Closing the dialog resulted in GBPVR ending requiring a restart.

Tonight I upgraded to the latest GB-PVR and Video Archiver plugin. I uninstalled GB-PVR and then Video Archiver. I then installed GB-PVR and then Video Archiver. Everything seems fine, but in the config app I have both "Videos" and "Video Archive Panel" (I only see 'Videos' in GB-PVR). Both have the same settings page and changing one changes the other. Is this supposed to be like that? If not, how do I clean it up?

Zap2it is showing a channel called UHD on 215 on my Comcast lineup. There are some shows on it I would like to watch (The Equalizer, Batlestar), but when I went to it, it showed the show name, but no video.
Does anybody else know about this channel?

I finally setup my Motorola 6200 HD cable box on my PVR. I am using a Retail Hauppauge 150 with the IR Blaster. It seems to be working fine as is. I also added the HD channels to my zap2it listings, and set the cable box to 4:3 widescreen 480i, so I can now record the HD channels via the A/V jacks as normal NTSC video. I am hoping that this will be a cleaner source for my local broadcast channels since they come out crappy sometimes compared to the digital channels.

Anywho, I have also used a program called "CapDVHS" and I can capture the actual HD data stream to my PC. It captures at about 100K a minute, or 6gig/hr. Obviously the picture is OUTSTANDING from those files, and I can only watch them by dragging them to VLC.

What I would LOVE to be able to do is to have GBPVR tune to the correct HD channel (as it does now) at the right time, then fire off the CapDVHS to capture the stream. Then I could transcode/recode/whatever down to 720x480 for MVP viewing, and still be ahead of the game compared to capturing from normal channels.
