For those who use the High Vis Blue skin and can't wait to use the latest GB-PVR version, I have posted a Green Globe version up on the wiki - a couple of fine-tuning bits and bobs to do to maximise the new video window, so I will be updating it this weekend as well as the standard icon skin, but if you can't wait... download here

also,was wondering if the graphics were natively seperate,if so instead of screenshot,just a copy of the files.. [some of the basic icon set and a few windows]

I've read that manual timeskip (enter the amount of minutes/seconds you want to advance, then hit skip) is supposed to work on the MVP, but it never has for me, not in 95.x, and still not in 96.8.
I know Sub thinks the 1=10%, 2=20% etc. feature of the Hauppauge software is weird, but for me it's very useful as sometimes a video will glitch or hang, and it's a complete pain in the ass to get back to the point in the video where you were before. Fast forwarding takes forever, and I have never been able to make manual timeskip work, so.... any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong? :confused:
And just to be clear, I've tried pressing both "1, 0, >>" and "1, 0, |>" on the MVP remote, and neither ever does manual timeskip, it'll just do nothing, or do the regular function of the >> and |> buttons.
First of all, my apologies if this is not the correct place to post this question. I have been using GB-PVR for some time, but never did any customization beyond the addition of simple, straightforward plugins. What I am wanting to do now is beyond my limited understanding, though I think it very likely that it is possible, given other users comments and questions.
First, let me describe my scenerio. I have a WinXP system running GB-PVR without any problems. I have other systems in my home running XP and MacOSX. With the recent addition of automatic transcoding of recordings, I thought it would be ever so convenient if I could share files to my other systems in a relatively elegant way. My inclination is to use iTunes Sharing to accomplish this, as the current version supports video sharing of MP4 files.
So, I can follow simple checkbox instructions in the Config.exe application to tell it to auto-generate MP4 versions of my recordings using the Video Ipod option. What I want to do is give these files more human readable filenames (i.e. Program - Episode Name.mp4). I then want to use the freeware application "iTunes Library Updater" (http://itlu.ownz.ch/) to recursively look through my Recordings folder for MP4 files not already listed in iTunes. This can be done by passing the following command line command:
What I don't know is whether a Postprocessor.bat file which I have seen much mention of is the place to do this, or if there is some better way to accomplish my goal. I would really like to have programs appear automatically as soon as they are transcoded, as opposed to setting a system task which runs the above command X times per day, etc.
Any ideas, or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Is anyone else having issues pulling data from Zap2it? I'm not sure why but I can't seem to get more than 2 days worth of recordings. I checked the Z2I forums but I couldn't find any info on restrictions...

I've got a generic (eBay special) usb video grabber that I use to import analogue feed from a VCR. I'm able to save videos into Windows Movie Maker (WinXP), but I haven't yet figured out how to view the video in Windows as a stream without saving it. Does GBPVR do that?

Iâve been finding phantom mpg recordings on my drive that do not display in the GBPVR Recordings menu. And sometimes when I delete a recording in the recordings menu, it takes two tries to delete.
I found a mpeg that wasnât listed in the recording library again last night, so I tried to track down why it was happening.
This looks like a Zap2It problem, but the show descriptions are different so I wanted to report it.
When I delete the mpeg that âisâ in recordings, the missing one appears like magic.
