Hello,

Just purchased a new soundcard, the Emu 1820m (a 'professional' soundcard), running a Hauppauge 150 capture card.

When I run GBPVR, I am unable to get any sound into it. But, if I run the Wintv2000, sound comes in just fine, I'm able to record sound, etc.

My previous soundcard was a M-Audio Delta 1010 (also a 'professional' soundcard), GBPVR worked with it just fine.

I looked in the config.exe to see if I needed to select the 1820m as the audio output, but I cannot see anywhere to do this. Is there a configuration file which I can edit to point audio to the 1820m?

I downloaded & installed the new release and it seems to work just fine. No problems so far. It just keep getting better.

It looks like one of the fixes was the problem selecting the MCE 2005 IR blaster plugin as the channel changer in the capture source config. Before it would give an error when selected. Now it seems to work OK...I can select it and the Blaster Config box comes up. When I select New I get the Describe Device box. I enter a name and click OK. The 'Please follow the prompts' box comes up with 'waiting...'. OK...what am I supposed to do then? I assume this is where I teach it the commands for the numbers 0 - 9, but shouldn't it prompt me for something? Or is there something else I should do? :confused:

I have it working with HIP (thanks to ricklous) but if it'll work with the native blaster plugin, that's one less thing I have to run.

Anyone have any pointers on how to teach it?

I made some quick changes to MVP Screen Position plugin to work with the newest version of GB-PVR.

Everytime I search i run into people trying to use another card and the irblaster and the common response is its only for the 150. well. I have a 150.

I have a Coolsat 5000 fta satellite reciever. What is the best route for me to go in having gbpvr control it?

Man, being away from my HTPC sucks! Especially since I haven't completely configured it. Atlanta is cool and all but dayum. If only the web streaming app worked/was implemented. At least I could watch the shows I am interested in. Oh well.

I despise business travel. Especially when they don't have internet access in the room....

After adjusting the screen with MVPscreenposition i get a perfectly positioned screen but the text in the menus are all blurred with what look like shadows. I've read this may be due to using odd numbers in the config app for mvpscreenposition. I'm using:

Can we tie this down once and for all? I'm confused about the different MCE remotes out there and how much GBPVR supports them! I have a MCE remote that came with a Hauppauge 150MCE and it seems different to the retail ones as doesn't have the learning keys ie TV on/off but looks identical apart from that to the 2005 European MCE remote. I also have a MCE keyboard which again has a built in remote. Neither has the 'My' buttons working and on the remote the colour buttons don't work either, is this to be expected and do these keys work on the MCE remote with the tv on/off button? (not to be confused with the pc on/off button on the remote!) Sorry if all sounds a bit confusing but I'm confused too :confused:

how do i find my files after comclean runs? i see where it's re-naming my files _original or whatever, but can't find my new files. also, after running comskip and comclean, my gbpvr doesn't see any files in the recorded 'ready' folders. i'm pretty new at this, but i get the feeling that i've gotta be close. two days ago i couldn't find my postprocessing.bat file...
