I've noticed over the last few weeks that the online vendors I frequent (newegg, buy.com, and amazon) are sold out of some hauppauge products, notably the PVR-150 and the MediaMVP. Does anybody know what's happening? I was thinking maybe Hauppauge's getting ready to update their product line, but they don't have anything on the press release section of their website.

How do you restart MVP server w/o stopping recording services? I want to restart MVP but can't without disrupting any recording. Is there a way to just restart to MVP servers without stopping and restarting the recording service?

like the topic says. I was watching an .avi movie and paused to go make coffee. When i came back and hit play there was no audio :eek:
I restarted GBPVR and tried again, still no audio. Closed it and watched the rest of the movie in media player classic.

Since then I have removed gbpvr (uninstall +manually deletion of the whole folder), reinstalled it, reinstalled audio drivers, reinstalled directX, reinstallled dotnet framework 1.1 and 2.0, even reinstalled chipset drivers. Still no audio in GBPVR

Audio works with every other application, I tried different output settings with winamp like directsound, wave and changed every setting around to try to recreate the problem in other applications but it just works.

I couldnt find any help in the other audio-problem-threads so i had to create a new one. Please help, I dont want to install MCE

Has anyone been able to get the RSSReader plugin to work with GMail? I understand there is a way to access your GMail account via RSS but I have been unsuccessful in adding it to RSSReader so I am wondering if anyone else has had any luck? Thought it would be great to do since I simply want to be able to read new emails you know.

I've gotten everything setup with GB PVR and WinTV PVR-150 and purchased a new GeForce 6600 to ensure there's great video output. Only one problem...

One thing I noticed when using the Nividia PureVideo decoder is that a blue line appears on the left side of the screen. (This actually happens with all the decoders, but the other's seem to hide it for some reason.)

Using Windows Media Player I see that it's not really an output issue, but apparently a capture issue.

I've attached a mockup of what it looks like as I couldn't directly capture the image.

Any help in figuring out how to get rid of this would be very much appreciated!

again, i found another plugin, which wouldn't work with another resolution than 720x480 ;-)

it's theater listings. i really would want to skin it, but it won't work unless the plugin is "rewritten" to fit other resolutions.

any chance this could be done?

everything for me with gbpvr is running good now i just have one small nagging problem

The fonts in the EPG seem to overlap eachother and while i can still easily see channel numbers and shows the date time and channel name get overlapped and or only half visible

it does this with every skin i try i managed to edit some font sizes in the countour skin but it only seems to change menu button fonts

i would like to make the EPG fonts smaller and also the recorded shows info box fonts smaller so i can see the whole name of the show also if i could th einfo box fonts while its playing so i can see the whole description

anyway ive been recording shows daily off my bell expressvu by just setting the STB to tune and Gbpvr to record at the same time for like a week now and it works like a rock this is some truly awesome software ...i had more problems with beyond tv and i was about to buy it ..

im not a rich man but i will for surely be making a donation

oh yeah im displaying it on a 1080i hdtv at 1696x956(16x9)resolution
i have large fonts set in windows and the dpi is at 125%
i dont think windows fonts should affect the gbpvr fonts though would it?

I'm new to GB-PVR and I've been trying to get it to pull the listings from my zaptoit account. It keeps timing out with this error in the Config.exe.log...

ERROR [535] Error UpdateEPG()'ing: The operation has timed-out.

I checked to make sure I don't have any firewalls blocking the communication with zaptoit, so I think it might have something to do with my tv tuner card. I know it's a Hauppauge but I don't know what model it is.

If I set the wrong one in the recording source, will that make it so I can't download the listings or does the download of the listings just require an Internet connection and not necessary a properly configured tuner card?

Also, am I supposed to load in all my channels manually or does updating the EPG automatically load those in when it is working properly?

I also have multiple NIC cards installed (2 LAN's and 1 wireless). Could that be causing the problem, cause I never could find a place to tell it what NIC card to use for my Internet connection. Maybe it's getting confused and doesn't know which one to use?

Hiya, I have been lurking around here for a little bit, and for the most bit I have been able to find all my solutions in the forums here, but this one is getting away from me. Whenever I install and use the My Pictures plug in, even to a relatively empty directory, it eats up almost 500MB of RAM in a matter of 5 minutes and keeps eating. Removing the problem rectifies the situation. I have checked to make sure I have the newest version of the plugin from the wiki, and it doesn't seem to produce any errors in the log. Any help?

just installed comskip and gbpbr version 9516 over older version 9211 (which was working good)...now when I click to open gbpvr program nothing happens......what could I have done?
