The last thing i did was edit the config.xml to change the XVID command settings but i've removed the line and it still won't start.

The gbpvr.exe logs contain two lines;

Any ideas!!?!?

Ive had no problems with the myseries plugins on my preveous machine, Ive recently rebuilt a dedicated machine from scratch and get the error's below after installing the myseries.

Is there something Ive forgotten to install ?
Just clutching at straws but could .net framework 2.0 be required, I havent installed it yet, and didnt want install anything else just now as the system is stable.
Ive checked the Mydatabase is installed and the connection string is correct.

Everything else works fine and its a pretty stable system

Anyone have any ideas ?

Showanalyzer and comskip are not perfect... Are there any programs that you can load the text files into and then from there correct any mistakes and then delete commercials from the video??

I have been looking around for USB DVB sticks, and have come upon this little module. I downloaded the drivers for it to see if they were BDA drivers, and in one of the .inf files, it says:

Installation inf file for DVB-T USB adapter BDA driver

Now, assuming this is a proper BDA driver, does this mean that it will work with gbpvr straight out of the box, or might I need to modify some files to get it up and running?

It is currently only £32.63 plus delivery (£1.99) from http://www.venuscc.com/acatalog/TV_Cards.html

So if it should work then I will get one and post whether it works or not.... otherwise, I'll just go for a freecom one which other people have got working.

I find that when I search for something using episode search I get a list of matches which I work my way through. When I find something I want to record I click it and then choose my recording options from the pop up window. Then the search page reloads and looses by possition in the list.

After a while this gets a little anoying, could it just go to the same possition either by:

Javascript scroll

or the easiest one...

Using bookmarks (one for each result) then adding some javascript on page load that sets the document location to the bookmark

Hi,
I have a problem when trying to play filename containing the swedish character ö through the MVP. It works ok on the PC but the MVP crashes and reboots when playing through that. It seems as if Ö is replaced in the filename by some strange character. Guess thats the problem. The same applies to å and ä also but here it seems to crash on ö.
I know one simple solution is to rename all songs. But if possible I would like to keep them.

I have an MVP/GB-PVR setup, all works lovely and cannot sayhow happy I am with it. I have my films on mpg and available over the MVP.

The thing is I want to put my DVD TV Series on the MVP, I know I could DVD-Shrink each episode to an .iso, then mount it in daeomn, and convert into mpg through GB-PVR. But its a very lengthy and boring process for a lot of tv programs.

Is there a way I can either get the whole DVD Image to play on the MVP (Prefereed method)

Or a quick way of converting each episode into a mpg, preferably with as little user input. I have a lot of episodes I want.

I appreciate any help on here, you all seem to know your stuff. THANK YOU!

I just picked up a Logitech Play Link cheap on ebay for wireless gaming with my PS2 (£15.50 inc P&P!).

Would it be usable for with an MVP?

The first
[INDENT]On my Hauppauge HVR-1300 I've configured both analog and digital channels. I've also a HVR-1100 but with only digital channels set.
Problem arise when I want to whatch a analog channel. GBPVR give me this error:
Expression p!=0 (see the annexed jpg file)

The error message gives the information that the error reside in Visual Studio .NET 2003 that reside in c:\Program Files\... while the Program directory reference should be c:\Programmi\...
I don't know if it can help.
