I thought this was happening but i have just spotted it...
I did ask before how to erase this Channels list as it would appear not all channels are being shown here as in the Capture Sources. I am right, i have a list in my Capture Sources and when the CONFIG updated its missed some channels, i cant add these manually so how do i force the CONFIG to rebuild this list from scratch (erase fully what it has then re-check everything for channels)?
Does anyone know how i can download the Channel icons with out guessing the URL, i know SATLOGO do them but cant find a way to "get" at them so to speak.
How do you name them in relation to GBPVR and the XMLTV file it uses?
First I must say I love your application
Secondly I hope someone can help with my problem. I have Gbpvr installed on 2 different PC's and neither one of them are able to resume from standby or hibernation for that matter when Gbpvr has a program scheduled for recording.
I have tried running sleeper.exe and that didn't report any errors and the pc's resumed as they were supposed to.
I am running on a Windoze XP SP2 and have tried to schedule an other program using Windows scheduled tasks and that works like a charm.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
I dont know how this happened, ive looked all over the XML skins and i cant correct it, how do i change the background colour for the TV listing back to black (or what ever dark colour it should be)?
My GB-PVR setup can record video and sound, but on one channel (FOX) the audio on recordings sounds like it's clipping when played back in GB-PVR, evidenced by pops when the audio gets particularly loud. It doesn't do this on any other channel that I've noticed, it doesn't do it in LiveTV mode on this channel, and it doesn't do this when I play the same file back in WMP. Only a show recorded from FOX played back in GB-PVR seems to have pops/crackles.
I have tried altering the settings in my mixer (the sound device is a built-in C-media chipset on an NF2 mobo), including changing the master volume level and wave output level. What settings here have other people used? As low as 50% I still get pops. I have tried searching on google for crackling problems with C-media devices, but didn't come up anything relevant.
I have tried settings in ffdshow's audio decoder configuration, lowering the master output volume and trying normalization. I have also tried setting different audio renderers in the GB-PVR config program, to no avail. No programs are running in the background other than the Hauppauge IR utility.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have problems streaming avi files towards the mediamvp.I tried to start playing an avi file, but @ the first try it stops , and @ the second try my stream was sending without interruption (see file 2-try.txt), but after that I was never more able to re-play it again, it always stops (see file 3.try.txt).Mabey someone has an idee why once it was working, and then nomore ? Thanks an advance helping me!
I have been using this program for a like 6 months without much problem. I switched to the new release and now all kinds of problems. I have uninstalled and re-instlled the program like six times now and this extra video card is causing me some problems.
I Have
2 Haupage 150s (one is hooked up to a cable box the other just straiht cable)
a Windows XP pro pent 4 fully loaded (this machine is lean and mean)
I have set up one source fine (The one with the cable box) and everytime I try to set the second one up, I have problems. First of all it kept tellimg me the EPG wasn't set up correclty. SO I switched it from 15 days worth to 4 days worth. (Zap2It) Now the EPG download is stuck in perpetual thinking mode. If I try to watch TV i get the error message I posted in the forum an hour about the machine refusing connection.
Can someone please tell me whats going on so I can get this working. I MISS MY TV!
I installed GBPVR for the first time, set up an account with Zap2It which successfully imported all of my channels. But when I go to "Live TV" or "TV Guide" GBPVR tells me that "No channels have been set up. Run the configuration utility." Which I have done now a half dozen times, I keep getting the same error. I know that the update worked because I can use the Search Guide, it has the correct listings and times for all of my channels.
I'm a total newb here, so I'm probably missing something.
One weird thing, which may or may not be helpful: After I had imported and tried to get this to work, I noticed that my system date was wrong, it was set one day ahead. I corrected the date, but perhaps that is messing with something.

Wondering what are my options for hooking this up to my existing wired Li
nksys router? Do I need to add a wireless router? Or is there a PCI card solution?
