Out of the blue (first time was just this evening) I started receiving the following error when my EPG was being automatically updated:
Failure in ChannelFactory:toreChannels():No current record.
I'm using Zap2it in the USA. I did notice that I now have a weird channel showing up in my EPG in the Config app -- A&E Network is listed three times, all saying the channel is 48, but the source channel is like 107, 208, etc. I don't know what this means.
I haven't edited my configuration in weeks (if not months), and definitely haven't messed with the Zap2it stuff.
My current recordings are still working, but I cannot view the TV Guide in GBPVR, I get a windowed error message that says:
"No channels have been set up. Please run ghe Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use teh 'Update EPG' button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information."
My EPG source looks fine, and there's even a list of channels on on all 3 tuners in the Config app.

I have a wintv express card and works a treat with GV-PVR using the softwarerecorder plugin....gr8
one problem is that I cant view liveTV, it just says "no tuners are available..",
I am wondering if I require an MPG2 Codec to view. If so, I will think about purchasing a PVR350 instead....
I don't know what's up with the series that i'm trying to record, I think it's jinxed as I have yet to record more than one programme!
Other timed recordings have worked ok but on this one this evening I have a log file full of the following for the hour duration of the recording. Any suggestions?:-

Now Im the goto guy for all my buddies computer problems, so Im no noobie at any of this, but this GBPVR is Fu****!!!
I dunno what to do with this...I got the Hauppauge PVR 150 with the default sotware and all works fine...
BUT this GBR stuff wont do a dam thing...This is my second time tryin to get it to work, first time everthing seemed right but there was nothing being displayed...Second time, when I click on Live TV I get error message of: "Unable to load hcwIRblast.dll" but the bloddy remote works with the winTV2000...Weird...Does anyone what the problem is there? I know Im missing the dll file but if the remote works I shouldnt need it, where am I gonna find it and how to install it??
First time I had this installed it wouldnt let me setup the configuration unless I had the EPG source in there, I could not set it to none, the software would not save the configuration unless I had an EPG source...I am not using the tuner just got S-Video and Audio in through the PVR 150...
There are 2 S-Video connections to choose from in the configuration and i read somewhere you should always choose the first one...Thats what I done but still no video....
OK, I plan to have a gbpvruielements.dll that I'm happy with going public ready soon. I've got a list of changes I want to do.
Add change caption support to buttons.
Add onclick() functionality
Redesign some internal workings to make it easier to add new elements
Write some html docs explaining use of each element and how I think they fit in with plugins and skins - this will in turn help me with design of the elements.
If possible use the lookup translation method all on strings rendered.

Would be greatfull if people could look at the demo app, dll and skin and post on the developers section if they have any comments, suggestions
Will cards based on the Conexant falcon 2 chipset (CX23416/CX25843) work with GBPVR? I am thinking in particular of the Club3d Zap tv1000 which is attractively priced in comparison with the WinTv pvr 150.
I just wanted to share this deal that some of the guys at cheapassgamer.com found. If you are like me then you probably have two, three, or even four remote controls sitting on your living room table. I've been eyeballing the Harmony Series for quite some time but was reluctant to pull the trigger until I came across this deal.
Believe it or not, but the Harmony actually works with the Hauppauge series PVR cards. I've even programmed the remote to turn on my TV, select the correct TV input, AND launch GBPVR in one fell swoop!
You can purchase the remote from the link listed below. In order to be able to use the $30 rebate (of course there is a catch) you have to have purchased an Xbox 360. I realize that most of you probably have no interest in such a thing but I thought I would share it with you anyway. I think this remote is a great value, even at $93 (the MSRP is supposed to be $150).
