Since this is my first post let me congratulate you on an awesome program!

I believe I may have found a bug, which I did not find mentionned when I searched the forums. I have version 95.16, and a Hauppauge PVR150. On Win XP SP2.

To reproduce:
- Start the web administration service. I use the "enhanced" version, but both make the same error occur.
- Make a season recording for a program (I usually select "This channel, this timeslot")
- Now, from the normal GBPVR interface, go to recordings.
- Select reoccuring and select the new one.
- Choose Update. I consistently get "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Reoccuring programs schedule from within GBPVR do not have this problem.

On a second, possibly related note, would it be possible to specify the # of recordings to keep when scheduling a recording in the web interface?

Hi updated my gbpvr to the latest version and it can not find any of the old recordings that I had in my recording folder, The files are there just not available on the screen, any suggestions?

I'm using GBPVR for the recording function only, for now. I have it running on my server in the basement, and I use the Web Scheduler to view and configure schedules.

I noticed recently my cable company has started airing one of my favorite shows to start 1-minute early. This causes a conflict with another one of my scheduled shows, which starts on the hour before my favorite.

Not much of interest happens right away in the first minute of the show anyway, so is there a way to modify (manually or otherwise) the schedule of the season recording to start right at the top of the hour, rather than one-minute before?

i'm surprised noone else thought of this, but i've been working on a backgroundless osd so i can see the video better behind, but when you use text of a certain color, it'll be invisible when over same color video so to remedy this most tv text overlay uses shadow or outline text...so..
i thought i'd try adding a duplicate text of darker color and slightly off-center underneath and viola! shadows on text... and it works great!
i can read a white font over white video easily
[plus i think it looks cooler too]
also a variant...since the overhead is pretty low for just plain text, you can put 4 'shadows' at opposite corners and simulate an 'outlined' text effect
here's an example of what i did..
Create a duplicate text style with shadow color..[not actually necessary,just easier]

Recently I started getting white wavy lines across the very top of the screen on some channels, like the picture has shifted too low on the screen for the bad channels. I have changed nothing with my PVR-350 or GB-PVR, and some channels are still fine.

The Tuning Assistant also shows the same problem. I assume something has changed at my cable provider (Comcast analog), but is there anything I can do to correct this?

but my time recording is wrong
an the title is right

for example if i record Judge Judy at 1 PM
then watch it later
it will say Judge Judy from 1 PM to 1:30 PM on the "recording"

and that is correct but when i view it, it is something elst altogether
like say the maury show or something
it is like this on everthing i perogram at any time
i would say that the time is just off but the tilte of the show is also wrong


anyone have this problem


and i did check the Zap2it listings on the website i am using the correct listings (it worked before with this listing)

When I watch Live TV or a Recording, I'll get the picture for the first second, then it'll dissapear while the sound continues to play. How can I fix this?

I wasnt sure where to put this request but as its a basic feature of GBPVR i thought here would be good.

I was using BLEB, i would like to use something better, xml stuff is doing my head in, isnt there ANY good GUI software around so i can find (URL) then squirt into a nice file that GBPVR can use and have it run every day (or has its own thing to do this)?

Hi

The func and text?? keys - # and * down the bottom of the keypad of the Hauppauge 45 button remote. What keys to they represent?? I think one of them is Ctrl-O - the func one, I think that is the #

I am running WinXP SP2 and am having a lot of trouble installing GB-PVR. I am using a Epia SP13000 mobo and a Hauppauge 150mce lp. The errors I get are:

Internal Error 2908.
{A31FFC4C-7A78-4B48-B816-5718E429ECB9}

After I click ok to this error the install continues until it tries to copy MceIr.dll

It says:

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'wmppia,Version="9.0.0.3095",PublicKetToken="31bf3856ad364e35",Culture="neutral",GUID="6bf52a50-394a-11d3-b153-00c04f79faa6"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x8002802F.

After I click ok to that one the install craps out and it rolls back.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated
