I have Comskip and Comclean & PSP conversion setup on my system, however I have 3 problems
1) I have prepadded my shows by 4 mins, is there anyway that Comskip can delete the first 4 mins of program?
2) Sometimes PSP conversion starts before Comclean. this means Comclean does not seem to run at all even after PSP conversion, is there anyway of editing PreProcessing.bat so that i can make sure that Comskip, Comclean and then PSP Conversion run in order without a schedule?
3) PSP conversion does not seem compatible with my PSP 2.0?
At least I have successfully installed MyVideos.
I chose "demux and burn" on a show, many scripts started and at last DVDDecrypter burnt a DVD (Rewritable). DVDDecrypter said it was 3 GB of data, and it ended without an error. But now my DVD Player says: "No Disk", my Computers DVD-ROM Shows nothing.
Is anyone aware of a way to display the episode name in the recordings menu without selecting a specific episode? For instance, if I select Recordings -> Ready -> Seinfeld I then get a list of "Seinfeld"'s with the record dates. Instead of getting a list of dates it would be much more helpful to display the episode names such as "The Jimmy", "The Calzone", etc. right on that menu so that if I failed to remember what was recorded on a specific date, I wouldn't have to select each date to determine the content of the recording.
I believe that the XRecord plugin displays these details (as well as the program description) in the recordings menu, but am reluctant to install it because of skin compatibility issues.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I was hoping I could beg a friend to the North to record a show for me. The Frantics Reunion Special is airing on the Comedy Network Saturday (1/28). I don't see any plans for Comedy Central to air it in the U.S. I'll try to return the favour if anyone requests -THANK YOU!!!!
I have my media center PC currently "working" with the PVR150. I've been having the same problem as many people with timestamps in some of my recordings, resulting in the inability to fast forward, rewind, etc. I read most of the posts dealing with this issue only to find out that the problem is really with the drivers for my capture card. So, I was thinking about adding a second card or replacing my 150 with the PVR500. Then I noticed that they use the same drivers.
My question is: if the problem is really the drivers, does the PVR500 have the same timestamping issue that the PVR150 does? And if the 500 doesn't have the same problem, wouldn't that mean that the drivers aren't the problem? I really don't want to buy a new card and still have to demux/remux or re-encode any of my recordings (although I only seem to have a problem with recordings which are longer than an hour....it's still annoying, though )
i know this sounds like a daft question as i've been using gbpvr for ages but i still have a problem with reoccuring recordings. if i select record whole season it goes into the list ok but for some reason always seems to miss the first episode. i tend not to use this feature as a result but i thought i'd try and get to the bottom of it.
Anyone else had similar problems?

PVR-150 X 1
PVR-500 X1
Theater Pro 550 PCIe X 1
DVI->HDMI to a new Samsung 26" LCD
My question is, with only getting STV, should I keep my resolution low, or force 1080i out? Does this have ANY effect on output? Or is it strictly decoders?
After installing GBPVR on a newly installed system I get a:
GBPVR tray exe has encountered etc.etc.
when I start config exe the same.
Although it's a clean install it's basically the same old hard- and software so i haven't got a clue what's going on.
Sub, need i send up the log files?
I've realized that it takes a long time to burn a GBPVR produced MPG unto a DVD. I've enabled Reven's Mux/Demux Utility, but i'm wondering if folks have any ideas on how to speed up the process. I use both Ulead and Nero (depending on my mood). It could take a couple hours to burn a 2 hour mpeg, i'd love to cut it down!
