VA Panel - music panel turned off for VA Panel
My Music
Music panel
No Visualizations.

When I play music in this setup after a couple of hours the XMedia LE main page is very slow to respond. When I go into a plugin like shutdown then the response is good. When I go back to the main menu however it's slow again.

I've also noticed that it might be related to how long the music has been playing.

Two fixes:
1. disable VA Panel
2. Use another skin because this doesn't happen when I use the ContourHC skin.

Overall, I think it's a skinning issue but I can't understand why. Any ideas?

interesting:

i installed my music from the wiki, i wanted to skin it (Olbia) and i'm nearly done. i then wanted to skin the playlist popup, but no playlists showed up (i saved 2 of them and they are there...). i then changed the playlist - path from c:\ to another path, moved the playlist to that new path and it works.

seems like the plugin doesn't recognize c:\ as playlist-path.
don't know, maybe this helps for the new my music-plugin...

Hi everyone - I'm pretty happy with GB's default skins at the moment, but one thing I have been missing is more show information in my recordings view.

For example, I can have twently episodes of a series saved. I can see the *series* name and recording date, but I have to select the show itself to see the *episode* name. I'd like the option to see all the episodes at once.

Is this something that can be addressed by finding the right skin?

Hi, how can you switch on-off visualisations in GBPVR via Hauppauge or MCE remote???

I have an AVI file that has a resolution of 512x272, but when it is played by gbpvr it is displayed full screen. How can I get gbpvr to display the video correctly?

currently using
- nvidia video decoder
- anamorphic/raw aspect (I also tried content default)

Hi, well impressed with gbpvr, just decided to give mce a rest and try something new and i have been blown away by the features of this app and all the problems i have come across have been easily solved by reading posts in this forum, there is however one issue that i cant seem to find, i have set the app to convert from mpg to psp, its certainly having a go and generating the mp4's but, i tried loading one into my psp and it was having none of it, and said it was an invalid file, so i tried playing a couple of the mp4's on my pc and the sound is perfect but the video is all screwed up, green distorted images with locks of blockiness floating around, any ideas? as this is the killer feature for me but just dosnt quite seem to pull it off, using the ss mux for recording to mpeg as the whole reason for dumping mce is the dvr-ms format which i find a little limiting, all recordings play and record great, just the conversion thats glitching


Also, just tried playing one from quicktime on the gbpvr machine and qt crashes with a buffer overrun error, dont know if that gives any clues???

I'm using a program called Green Button to convert my videos, is there a way that that program can be used inside of gbpvr settings that it will do the conversions for me rather than getting the cyberlink multiplexer?

I made the mistake of buying the PVR-150Mce instead of the PVR-150 and would now like to add a remote. How do I add a remote to my box? I have the MVP remote is there a USB attachment that will pick up the IR from this remote?

Greetings - I've been tinkering with GBPVR a bit and I think I'm ready to build the real PC for it but I'd like to run 4 external DirecTV tuners on this box. This utility (DirecTVChannelControl in the Wiki) should solve the issue of changing the channels but wondering if there are any other folks running 3 or 4 DirecTV tuners and changing channels with this utility? I only have 1 built in serial port to use but saw the blurb in the wiki regarding USB -> Serial converters and the Pin mods to make on the cable. Anyone running a couple in this method? How has it been working for you? Knowing this ahead of time would really help me out before I started shelling out cash for the extra cards and STBs. I'm looking to replace a DirecTivo with gbpvr and cant live without recording at least 2 and watching 1 recorded. Recording 2 or 3 and using an MVP in the other room would be even better Beautiful work, Sub, and the Plugin/utility writers.

Hi, I've been having lots of problems with very jittery and bad Live TV. My system is an Athlon XP 2500+, 512mb PC3200 ram, PVR150, and an nVidia FX 5200 128MB AGP running XP Pro w/ SP2 (changed the quartz.dll) I'm quite sure my rig has enough juice to make this work, but I'm lost.

The news tickers on CNN smear across the screen, and movements are jerky. On a hunch I tried DScaler with 3:2 smoothing, and everything looked much better! But OSD makes everything jittery and CPU load is around 85%.

I've tried nVidia purevideo with hardware accel on and off, Cyberlink, Intervideo, and Mainconcept.. all of them have the same problem and CPU load is around 80%. I don't think it should be that high, should it?

Anyone have this problem, or know what could be going on? Please help!
