Hi, I'm a very happy v5 user with Version: 5.0.1.200209  

Every day I use grab to get a new EPG that is 10 days ahead
After that I set NextPRV to get the new guide and that works fine as well

Now with Corona my favorite TV channel changed the guide with more movies
But I don't see that change in the NextPVR guide

So I clicked empy EPG and update EPG and all is well for now
My question is if it can be automated like daily ?

I am trying to use an external disk for my recordings on Ubuntu.
However when I enter the directory /media/jerry/Passport/Recordings
(on the external disk)
the recording fails. If I use the default /home/ jerry/recordings
( on the internal ssd) it works. Can someone help me with this issue.

Impressive rewrite to npvr with v5!  

I am running via Docker on Linux x86_64.

I have an HDHomeRun that works just fine with EPG.

However, an IPTV source refuses to import EPG data.  I see acute errors in the logfile - something about "missing value in AddEPGEvents".

I see no discernable difference between the HDHomeRun XML and IPTV M3U+XML file pair.  See attached log snippets.

Any ideas?

Far as I can tell, according to the guide, every program is NEW. Seems pretty unlikely for NZ (and AU). Anyone else ?

OK everyone,
I need some help.  I thought I did everything right in exporting a recording from one machine to another machine.

I copied the .ts file from 
c:/temp of the first machine and copied it to the same c:/temp of the second machine.

I then did a export recordings.  Copied the recording-backup file and sent it to the second machine.

I then did a import recording  on the second machine and it gave me a no recordings copied.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what went wrong.

I tried to install NPVR5 on Win10. The install reached out to download. Moments later it threw up an error of 6 lines, starting with the subject line of this post.

End of Central Directory: record could not be found

and in the NextPVR in c:/ the directory is empty.

Help?    

Just noticed that the recording service has stopped a couple of times today, happened when we were out earlier and then again just now when trying to tune Channel 4 via Kodi.

Logs attached.

Not sure if it is a NPVR bug or something else.

Each time I restart my server (Ubuntu Server 18.04) I have nextPVR installed on, I constantly have to reinput the pin in the WebGUI I use in order for my Kodi clients to access NextPVR. Is there a text file I can specifically edit the configuration?
