any way to get the current volume level?

i'm asking because i'm looking for a way to slowly increase the volume, from zero, to whatever level it is currently at.

i didn't see it in the API (just VolumeIncrease/VolumeDecrease)...if that's the case, can anybody think of a clever ways to do this?

after i timeshift and then rewind i loose all sound and have to walk up to the computer and turn it up via the volume control.
i am using pvr-150mce
also is there any reason to get better picture on tuning assistant?

I am recording using a Nova-T usb2
I have recorded some programs fine but i keep getting some where when i try an d ffwd using the >>| key on the remove it jumps forwards and then freezes. I can press back and choose it again.
If i dont ffwd and let it play its gets to a point where the video freezes but the audio continues to play.

Any ideas?

Im having trouble playing ISOs from within plugins. If i go to the Video Library, it mounts and starts no problem. If i go to a video plugin (been using My Videos currently but also tried Video Archive with same result) when i click the ISO it shows the info/film details screen, click 'play' the film doesnt start and if i click Back i go back the the main screen of My Videos. When i check the Daemon tools taskbar menu, no ISO has been mounted.

I'm sure it used to work before the machine was wiped and i cant see anything im doing different this time...been digging around for a couple of days but cant get it working

in config i have the daemon tools path set correctly, the device and drive number is also set correctly.

Any ideas why this is happening? or any pointers as to where i should look for more clue?

im convinced im missing something obvious...

The scan seems to have a few faults... if it scans for a station it wont pick them up if there perfectly clear... only ones with minor static... lol

I know they sell a box that requires plugging in version of this but i wanna see if it makes my tv picture better if theres a wire package (wires smaller then a box obviously)
And how do you configure your tv tuner card to run on the i think there called "AV" jacks?

Can anyone help, if i select web radio I get the web stations and if i select anyone of them it comes up buffering and then unable to contact radio station. Im using a 1meg broadband at the moment and can see it accessing the net but cant get anything, any help would be appreciated

I like to use the guide that pops up over the live TV when I am watching TV. I have noticed that each time I scroll through the channels in this guide, the video pauses, but the audio does not. Any ideas on what is causing this?

I thought it might be a lack of RAM, so I upgraded that to 1GB, but there wasn't a change. Could it just be my CPU? I have a PIII 933MHz processor. Could it be my video card? I have a Nvidia Riva TNT 32MB AGP card. I know I don't have the best system, but it does work and I was on a tight budget (new baby in a couple months),
