Has anyone got the configuration above to work correctly with a TV Guide? If I use the option to grab the DVB EPG broadcast it doesn't grab all the channels guides, specifically the BBC ones! Anyone else had this or found another way to do it?
I'm trying to update the Media Experience Skin. Slowly, I'm learning how to tweak and develop a skin. I gotta question for ya:
1. Depending on the plugin selected, there are diffferent backgrounds with a box for the buttons on the left that is big enough or small enough for the appropriate plugin. Did you just use a generic background and customize each one? How did you form that box on the left (and if you used a specific program, could you name it too?)
2. Regarding the different images and png files. Was there a website you pulled those from?
I really enjoyed that plugin and trying to do my best to keep it going...
I've just noticed that a recording that I have set for 23:00 to 00:00 started normally except I happened to notice that the previous programme had overrun by 20 minutes thus pushing out my recording.
I don't appear to be able to modify the timing of a recording in progress. If not, it would be good to be able to change the finish time of a recording.
Using a regular IR remote w/ usb-uirt (still trying to decide on what rf remote to purchase)...everything works fine untill I leave the machine w/ the screensaver going. From what I can tell, it must be on with the screensaver for at least an hour for this problem to occur. What happens is, the remote no longer works...and either does keyboard presses (up/down/left/right/enter etc.) however mouse clicks still work fine. I can navigate menu's and everything with the mouse, but neither my remote via usbuirt or my keyboard function anymore. The keyboard/mouse are both wireless-usb...but I dont think that matters.
Seems like a wierd problem, and being that I havn't seen any other posts about this...it's probably localized to me.

Is there anyone using the Twinhan PCI DVB-T receiver successfully? I'm using the latest GBPVR version and the latest (1.2.31) BDA drivers but during channel scan no channels are found, allthough other programs (for example ProgDVB with BDA.device plugin) work well with the BDA driver and also find all channels.
After cancelling a reoccurring recordingseries, (Because I didn't want it to record replays of the same parts of the series), I cannot make a new reoccurring recordingseries of the same series, using the "same timeslot every week". It apppears in the Reoccuring-list, but not in the Pending-list. What could be wrong?
I installed GB to see if this nice peace of software would work with the convertX from plextor. The software that was bundled with it does work but not as nice as I'd like.
I'm able to switch the channels and see the TVguide so the EPG works fine! But as soon as I ask GB to record (press the pause icon or CTRL-K) it goes black with the text "Starting timeshift mode please wait" and than goes to the screen that I was in before I'd start watching the channel. I don't have a clue how to go back and continue the program that I was watching. Also, programmed recording don't seem to work. It says it is bussy recording but no files are being created and the PX-TV402u does not seem to do anything...
I will go try more settings and dive into GB-pvr since I like the feel of the programe. If someone has any hint as to what could be wrong I'd like to hear from you.
Ok....I had 2 PVR-150's and one burned up so I got a PVR500 since I was planning on adding another tunner.
I have follwed the instructions on the Wiki for adding a PVR500 and as soon as I set one of the tunners to Capture source #2 I get the following in my exe.native.log:
Am I right in thinking that with the DVB-T cards, they always just save the native MPEG2 stream and therefore the low/medium/high quality choice has no effect?
I certainly can't find any setting for my Freecom to choose this.
Good news, wife is so impressed with the whole concept that I got budgetary approval for a second tuner and another MVP.
As a beginner on gbpvr (great software !!!), I have a question:
I'm using the Sapphire PCI ATi550 based analog tuner card, in kombination with a nVidia based 6600GT videocard and EMU-1212m soundcard.
I have distorsion on all my analog TV channels which has NICAM sound (there are no problems on mono channels). Is there any way I can adjust this, so that for example NICOM is not overloading so much ? When I look on my EMU control panel (EMU-1212m is a studio sound card wiht awsome specifications!) and it's "Peak Meter" I can see how it bottoms out at the same time as the sound get's distorted.So I guess that lowering the output with 6dB might do the trick, or maybe even 10 dB ?
