Just wondering if you use AC-3 Filter and why you like it? And those who are intentional on not using it, why not? I had it on, and then it was too hard to figure out how to configure because it bothered me when watching DVDs.. and then the latest build conflicted with net radio, so i got rid of it, but wondering what others do...
No matter what I try, I seem to have trouble with watching TV (both preview and timeshift mode). The picture doesn't stutter at all, but there's a "judder", the best description is that it seems the frame rate isn't quite what it should be; almost like 3:2 pulldown? (I'm in the U.S., so i'm on NTSC if that matters). I've tried MainConcept, Intervideo, Cyberlink, and Nero decoders.
The system is an Athlon XP 2500+, ATI Radeon 7000, running XP SP2, tried the quartz.dll fix.
Since it looked like 3:2 pulldown, I installed DScaler and tried the 3:2 option in there, and it made it almost perfect, except now it looks like the video is sped up and moving too fast, it's a weird effect.
Can anyone help me? I'm really stumped on this one. Thanks!
Ok, so, we all know with cable company DVR's and some software out there, as soon as you tune in a channel the box begins to record.
So, my question is.. in GBPVR do you HAVE to hit pause to start time shift on every channel or is there a way to enable it so it is constantly recording anything I tune in?
I only ask because sometimes I forget and want to rewind, but I can't if I haven't enabled time shifting.
Any advice would be awesome! Thanks!
(I downloaded the trial for BEYOND tv and this function works as I would expect, so hopefully I'm just missing something. Regardless, I will be using GBPVR, great product!
How can I change the color of the time line status or the indicator on the tv guide? i've look all in the xmls and can't find anything. I can't see the indicator with the background that I have for the skin I'm working on.
Is there anyone who has used an RF Link AVS-5811 for remote wireless playback?
Any experiences with setup, video quality, configuration issues, etc.
It's my intent (at this point) to have the GBPVR interface displayed on the second VGA out on my PVR PC and have that display sent to one or more TVs via the AVS-5811. I'll contol GBPVR remotely via a separate wireless application communicating with the GBPVR PC that will send virtual keystrokes to GBPVR.
From my readings in the forums this will give me wireless playback while still allow the GBPVR OSD.
