well i figured its been a while since i bugged sub for this, so here goes
sub any chance in the next release you will make it possible to adjust the menus bounds on screen? that way any skin can be made to fit the users screen without them having to use a skin especially designed for overscan.
just a few simple tags (<MenuXPos><MenuYPos><MenuWidth><MenuHeight>) in the config.xml file, that would save me a lot of drama with the PM3 skin (i suffer from overscan, and overscan on computers is often unique, the skin fits my tv perfect, but it may not fit someone elses).
sorry if ive posted this in the wrong place , but i was unsire where to post ive search on the forum for the error numbers and came back with no results when i try to install first i get a message box with "internal error 2908" if i click ok the install continues next i get "error 1935 an error occoured during the installation of assembly " at wich time the install rols back and removes itsself from the pc

After a complete reinstal of gbpvr I've got my pictures working. It is very nice. No memory problems, only a bit slow at times.
Interesting option is to delete files and folders. It would be great in combination with the preview view. However, delete works from most views, but not from preview...
I'm a newcomer to GB-PVR and whilst finding the software a joy to use. It sometimes causes my system to hang and even crash. Are there are fixes, patches or update for this problem?
On another note I'm also finding it extremely difficult to find reliable sources for skins and plugins for this product. Most of the links I've followed to GBPVR's website are all dead (namely http://www.gbpvr.com ).

recently, when i try to update the listings with zap2it, it only updates certain channels, and most of the channels, like my local channels(WB, Fox etc) it leaves blank...I need to set some stuff to record today(saturday) and I cant, because there is no listings..what is going on?
just recently I decided to switch from myhtpc to gb-pvr.
My hardware builds on a Pundit-R, having the great amount of TWO pci slots:mad:
I THOUGHT to keep my old 878 card (using it to grab epg and to plug in the remote receiver) and dump my PVR 350 card in order to replace it with a pvr 500 baby. But thinking is always tricky, so I had a pretty stupid look on my face, when I unpacked the pvr500 and found it to be TWO cards:confused:. One the main card (which is displayed on every picture) and an other plug in card with the second tv inlet.
That means, that I have to also dump my 878 card (since I have only two pci slots) with which I wanted to remote control the entire unit, bringing me to the question: How can I remote control my PC???
If I buy a new remote, I would like to get one to manage also the tv, radio and stereo.
Someone mentioned the OneForAll 8910. But I also need an ir receiver. Has anyone any comments, suggestions, experiences?
I have a PVR250 and when I record to medium quality PAL , I get a small zone of horizontal garbage on my recording on the very bottom and a small zone of vertical garbage on the right side of the screen.
It seems that the recording records beyond the normal size of the TV resolution.
Is there a way to reduce resolution and remove this garbage on the recording so records look clear when watching them?
I am using GBPVR in combination with an MVP and use it mainly for recording tv shows for later viewing. I delete most of the recordings after viewing, but some I keep and these recordings I would like to compress. I could use an mpeg4 format, but playback of these are not really optimal for viewing on the mvp, because the transcoding limits forwarding.
Is there a way to compress the mpeg2 recording into a format that is more mvp friendly?
