When setting recordings for two overlapping shows where the two channels are transmitted from the same multiplex can GBPVR just use the one Transport Stream and split out the two shows.

Also on a similar vein when recording two consecutive programs with post and prepadding GBPVR will use both my Cards to record this, could it just in the overlap write to both the files and so leave me able to record on another channel instead of getting a conflict.

Hey guys,
1) I'm pretty new to this program (love it so far!!!) but I can't seem to get the OSD to show up.
For EX. When I hit "Ctrl + G" or "Ctrl + B" nothing happens in any setting. I can't see the mini-guide, the progress bar, what channel I'm on, etc.

2) Another problem I have is when I am recording a program (scheduled recording), I can't watch it as it is recording or any of the already recorded material. It will show a still of the video and will either crash or make me go back to the main page with empty hands. I'm running a PVR 150 MCE on an XP machine that has 2.0 GHZ processor and (low) 512 ram. Is it that everything is getting overworked?

3) I might as well state this issue too. While watching a recorded program, if i hit "Ctrl + right arrow" (Fast forward) more than once right after another, it crashes.

I'm sure there will be more questions in the near future. Thanks for being patient.

I'm using two tuners on my system: Hauppage PVR150 and Fusion HDTV5 Lite. I have just installed the fusion lite and everything is working fine with regrads to the fusion lite's software. I went into Config and setup another account with Zap2it (as instructed from one of the posting in this forum, thanks for the info ) for the HDTV channels and updated the EPG. That went well too.

However, I got this error message (Failed to locate configured DBA capture device) when I tried to watch the HDTV channels in Live TV on GBPVR. I also tried recording shows from the HDTV channels but to no success. I'm using the ZULU DBA as my playback decoder, DVR-MS as my mux, and viewing it in live preview mode.

I really like using GBPVR and it is really frustrating that I can not watch HDTV channels in GBPVR. HELP!! Thanks in advnace!

I have seen mention of this here and there in different threads not relating to this issue specifically and thought a thread dedicated to this problem could be helpful.

Has anyone who experienced the problem of the visualization not starting when the GBPVR screensave kicked in resolved the problem on their system? IF so, how did you correct it?

I have an AMD 2500XP and notice the CPU usage peaks at 100% from time to time. Is there a setting which is visually appealing to reduce the CPU usage?

Has anyone tweaked the remote.ini to allow for a key or combination of keys to toggle between full screen visualization and normal main menu and if so how?

I keep meaning to as I would really like to be able to force the full screen visualization mode from the enhanced hauppagge remote control.

Can anyone give me suggestions as to what might cause this problem?

I have many avi/divx video files that I would like to play using the mvp connected to gbpvr. When I attempt to play the files using gbpvr, the first five to ten seconds of the video will play, then it will either kick back to the menu I played it from, or in some instances, the mvp will reboot and reconnect to the server.

I can stop the gbpvr service and start the hauppauge mvp server and the same videos play just fine.

While this works ok, I would really prefer to be able to watch the videos using gbpvr. Has anyone else had this same problem? Any pointers or tips?

1. I've got a PVR350 and a PVR150 (retail). Everything works now, except, the remote only works over the Hauppauge IR application, and not "direct". Before I installed the PVR150 I could use the remote without the IR.exe running. Not a big problem, except I need to keep the GB-PVR window on top and active.

2. Other question, I got the IR Blaster to work with Dutch UPC Digital's "mediabox" (a Thomson box). It is codeset 505 you need to set. But, there is one little thingy: there is a different button to turn the box on than to turn it off. I want to make sure the box is turned on. The Hauppauge BlastCfg allows to send the on/off command, which for this Thomson box means "off". Quite the opposite of what I want. What commands can I send through the HaupBlast executable except {channel}?

3. Other question. I have a PVR350 with its tuner, a PVR150 with its tuner, and a cablebox (UPC Mediabox made by Thomson) on a fixed channel on the PVR350. I therefore have three sources to record from. It sometimes happens that when I program a show to be recorded over the fixed channel (UPC Mediabox), GBPVR says that a conflict is happening, even though the PVR150 source is still free. Usually the show that causes the conflict is a show that is programmed to be "repeated"ly recorded. GBPVR should assign the free source, I think.

4. Sometimes the TV Guide details for a show get updated during the week, whereby the show starts 5 minutes earlier. Now that I have two cards, I see that sometimes the show also gets recorded twice. Same show, on the same channel. Maybe GBPVR can do with a bit of intelligence that it will not record a show twice if it is overlapping on the same channel...

A few quick things to note. There is now a HD option to download or not dowload HD trailers. Works farily well (~80% of the time) still a work in progress though. Had to completely rewrite the code to determine if a trailer was high res or low res that you wanted and got the right one. This is now much much more acurate though still misses some (again another sork in progress )

As always if you find a bug please post it so I can fix it. Or site message me. If you have a feature request do the same too.

I am using the Cyberlink DVD Decoder and this weird thing happens. About 50% of the time, I can't run a DVD through GBPVR. So the fix is that I go out of GBPVR, I run the Configuration. I don't change anything, I say OK, and then I restart GBPVR, and voila, it works.

Sometimes I have even fixed it by exiting GBPVR and running Nero Showtime 2, once the DVD starts there, I exit and then restart GBPVR and voila, it works. Anyone can guess the problem??

I really like this skin since it is the only one my wife can really see on our TV over the MVP. My question is about the VA panel. It displays the info behind the orb and the clock so you really can't read it. I can turn off the panel so it does not look confusing, but I was wondering if you may plan on moving the location in a future release.
