I have a Theater 550. Is there a way i can remove the delay so I can use things like video games on it? I saw that there was a program for the PVR-150, but did not see one for ATI.

Does anybody know if there is a post that gives information on all of the options available in the GB-PVR config program? I'm a newbie to PVR and most of the terms are foreign to me. I've been able to get it running for live TV, pausing, etc. but I gotta believe that I have missed some things.

I know this is like asking someone to tell you how the space shuttle works but you guys seem to be able to answer all the questions I've seen!

Not sure if this is a feature available in the My Videos or other video library alternative plugins but as a feature request for the core Video Library included with GBPVR... Can you have it include Bin/Cue files as opposed to just ISO's?

I find that the files I have in an image format are generally either ISO or Bin/Cue and for the Bin/Cues I have to exit GBPVR, mount the Bin/Cue image manually and then go back into GBPVR. This is not really a big deal but would be a nice feature.

Just my machine updated to 0.9516 (had been putting it off until I had a few quiet days..) All went very smoothy except....the new genre colour select thing is coming up blank.?

EPG guide is loaded and displays OK otherwise.

I just got comskip and transcoding to xvid working correctly.
I have about 50 recordings that I would like to run comskip to flag the commericals and then transcode to xvid.
Is that possible?

A few weeks ago I posted the same error message and since then, I've uninstalled GBPVR and started from scratch. I'm still getting the same error message. The only skins I can use with out any error are XMedia LE and Blue. BlueBasic, BlueMCE2, Contour,ColorCollection SE, ContourHC and Collection all give me the same error.
I'm using the latest version of GBPVR and have no other problems that I can tell. Recordings have been accurate and I've had no lockups.
Any ideas?

I'm a newish MVP owner and have been running GB-PVR for a couple weeks now. I'm very impressed with how developed this app is, especially given it seems there's only one developer!

I would like to report a problem I'm having though, as I suspect its just my setup or someone would have mentioned it:

When I'm playing back a recording, I can't fast-forward in the stream. Most times, the video freezes on the current frame and the sound fast-forwards. I've had it seem to ignore the fast forward request. In Live-TV, I've had it lock up where the software had to reload from the MVP boot screen again.

I use a Plextor TV-402u to capture to MPEG-2, and a MediaMVP to playback. I haven't really messed with the mux settings because I'm not sure how they apply with a MPEG2 hardware capture and MPEG2 hardware playback device.

Deinterlace Filter
ffdshow raw video filter
Alparysoft Deinterlace Filter

My system (150MCE) is chosen Encorder-Pass Through

WHat is the best choose?

I have the Hauppauge PVR USB2 card and when I try watching live tv, the picture halts after 10-20 secs.

This is with "Use Live Preview mode if possible" checked under Misc.

Deinterlacing is set to: Encoder Pass-through

If I uncheck "Use ..." the picture doesn't halt anymore.

I have just updated to the lates driver for the interface from http://www.hauppauge.com

Am I missing somthing?
