Hi i'm using nextpvr v5 on linux with m3u (iptv) tuners. When i import channels i end up with an unused device.. how can i delete an old tuner ? there is no delete button in web gui
Being a new user, I miss the possibility to select advanced settings when I set up a recording in the Android app. More detailed, I want to specify the folder I am recording to, since I have different folders for movies and TV shows.
Currently, it always records with the default options. For this reason, the Android app does not make much sense for me and the web interface is not very useful on the mobile fun.
Is it possible to implement this? I would also appreciate if the pink colours cheme can be fixed along with it
Is there a way to update the playlist without bringing in the entire m3u? But rather a filtered m3u as when the import was done? Or do I need to use a playlist filter like m3u4u to do this so the filtered groups are remembered? If I recall last time I tried it brought in 10k channels unfiltered so I had to re-import & re-select desired groups again.
Hi,
I would like to run Nextpvr as my PVR.. I am a bit overwhelmed by all the info.. I currently have Mythtv running on a Ubuntu 18.04 desktop. It runs pretty good, but after about 15 years I'm looking at moving to this.. I see that Nextpvr i s running on linux,so I would like to do that also..
My current setup is Ubuntu,18.04, 4tb drives and the the tuners are 2 HD-PVR and 2 STB's Almost all those drives are full of Movies and TV series.. If i was to switch to windows for the OS and Nextpvr it would take a month to convert the files.. One question I would like to ask though is could I serve my media across my network and install Nextpvr on a windows 10 machine I have?
Using what I have can anyone suggest a minimal setup to get me started and then I can customize and make it to my liking...
Happy raspberry pi 4 user here I've had NextPVR running for a month now and it seems very stable for my use, which is just recording from HDHomeRun (viewing is via samba on my PC).
One question -- is it possible for the web UI to use https? I have a self-signed cert, but I do not see an obvious certificate directory.
My interest is mainly just to use https consistently (and get rid of the "Not Secure" tag), even though this is only on my local network.
I had to re-install my computer as it would not go into sleep mode. With the new install I get no notification icon and cannot easily see when NextPVR is recording.
When I go into the "customize notification" window it shows the NextPVR icon and it is set to show icon and notifications. But it never appears. If I turn it off it and turn it back on it tells me that the icon is not active.
I'm not sure if I'm getting confused here because I thought that I previously had a NextPVR Status menu item in Windows but I can't find one now.
I got an email from schedules direct that they are dropping the lineup
The removed lineup was: PA66100:X(Verizon Fios Philadelphia)
This is the one I have setup in NPVR, however, I'm pretty clueless about how the whole "JSON" thing operates, so I don't know if I need to worry about this or not. There ARE other choices, so I can change it, but so far the channels and guide look OK. I suppose over time things may start to disappear.
