Do retry and eventually get to the Registered JIT debugger is not available error for the recording service.
Now I got this error when I just reinstalled my system last month, thought it was an error with a slipstream I made out of XP since someone else had a similar issue. Well did a reinstall the long way and just went through normal updates still same error. With .net 1.1, the fix to 1.1, and also 2.0.

I get the above error with version 9413 on Windows 2000 SP4. The "solution" indicated in the release thread (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=8949) was to install Windows Media Player 9. I abhor WMP, especially V9. Is there some other way to resolve this error? Can the dependency be removed? Otherwise, what is the last version of GB-PVR that does not have this requirement?
This has happened three times now intermittently over the last month.
I schedule a recording task from the EPG. You see Bob the Builder rules according to my 2 year old son. The recoding time is 10 minutes from about 9:30AM.
I come home from work in the evening many hours later and we are still recording... like 14Gb later!
I can't stop the recording or the recording service without a reboot. Then everything works fine again for a few weeks. The computer is in all other ways responsive. All my other recordings work fine.
I wonder if it has something to do with a short recording job beacuse its always Bob the builder's 10 minutes that has prompted it.

I've searched as much as I can with a 2 and 5 year old hanging from my shoulders - would anyone be so kind as to point me to the "getting started" links that I'm somehow missing? (sorry I'm being lazy, but the kids need to play!)
At the moment - MVP D3a with green network light blinking. Haup screen says "coonecting to boot server". I'm under the impression I should not install any Haup software and MVP support is included in latest version of GBPVR. I'm running GBPVR with no plug ins.
I've got comcast analog cable (Eastern US) and I record a lot of shows with Gbpvr scheduling through Xguide using zap2it for the EPG.
I found out that I can upgrade to comcast digital cable for 4 dollars per month.
I understand that with digital cable the channels are switched through the digital box that comcast provides.
If I upgrade to digital will I still be able to schedule recordings through Gbpvr as I do now?
I am pretty sure that custom tasks is the way to do what I want to do, but let me describe it and someone can tell me if I am on the right track.
I want to run the MVP without a monitor and set it up so that the colored buttons correspond with various playlists (ie blue button starts a random playing of a kids mp3 playlist).
 Can I just setup a custom task to do this? Does that task need to call the MyMusic plugin or some external app? Can someone point me in the right direction?
BTW: I love gbpvr/MVP combo. It is the best thing going.
I've been trying lately to simplify a skin and make it consistent and intuitive throughout. So far I've been pretty successfull with the plugin's i use. I'm at a standstill in the Music Library though. So far I've not been able to change the selected text to a different color from the list text. I can change the text color and change the selection bar color but that's all.
I've been able to change the buttons to what i wanted but am unable to do anything more than change the color of the text in the list view.
Would anyone know if I'm just spinning my wheels here or is it possible to do. From looking around at different skins I've not seen anyone else that has done this either so maybe it's not possible.
Any words of wisdom from the experienced skinners, please!
