I have searched the forum and see that there has been some discussion on this but I am not sure what the final status is. There has been talk of work arounds and manual launches but I can't see definative answer.
....So is it possible to launch the screensaver to an external application? Specifically a .src

The Collection System
The Collections series share layouts for the various GBPVR plug-ins.
The system is based on the default GBPVR skin, "Blue" so it does support
all plug-ins that Blue supports.
The system was recently updated with new buttons and layouts for Video Library,
Music Library, and Net Radio.
In all, new layouts have been created for the following GBPVR components:
- Main Menu
- TV Guide
- Search Guide
- Live TV
- Recordings
- Video Library
- Music Library
- Net Radio
- DVD
- Weather
- On-Screen Display
- On-Screen Controls
Standard "Blue" layouts exist for:
- Comics
- DVD Ripper
- Fast Find
- FM Radio
- Guide 2J
- My Music
- My Videos
- Video Archive

Hey guys,
Awesome Software Sub.
I have been reading the forum and working through most of my initial issues. I am having a problem with the OSD.
I was using VMR9/Nvidia and had some choppy video issues and sound problems. I read in the wiki that VMR9 is not compatible with Win 2k and I can only use Overlay. Fine, I switched to overlay and live TV is great. My recorded shows looked great with both and do not studder.
But, now when I pause, or show the OSD the screen displays snow with a faint image of the tv. The OSD portion looks great. would love to go back to vmr9 but switched originally because the osd did not show up at all.
Anyone have an idea?
Thanks,

I recently removed my old SBlaster live card and installed a new sound card with SPDIF OUT. I had just got a new AMP with SPDIF Optical in so I was keen to use this.
Upon firing up GBPVR I noticed the Audio on Live TV and recording playpack was terrible. very distorted at times especially the female voice and when loud events occurd.
I then tried teh music and it plays fine no audio issues. I then tried Real player and the auido is also bad on that too. SOI'm guessing it's an audio codec issues.
Can anyone point me in any direction as to where I can check on the system for parameters that might be effecting the Audio quality. I 99% sure it's only on new recordings that the problem exits. existing recorded files play back fine. It's the new ones and the Live TV that has teh issues.
DVD playback is fine via AC3 and DTS no issues /PCM (thought PowerDVD)
My capture card isn't supported and I was wondering if there is an alternative way I could configure my card by using a different card type from the list or a plugin or if in a future release you will be supporting my capture card. The capture card I have currently installed on my macheine is an Asus TV Tuner Card w/Remote Control (ASUS Silicon WDM Video Capture). Here is a link to the site I purchased it from and other information about the product you may want to know http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/...No=1284598. Thank you for your help in this matter. -Robert
Great site everyone. I downloaded the software 3 days ago and have been tweaking and playing with it ever since.
I will be installing a stand alone system for GBPVR functions only. I am using a P3-866Mhz with a 150 tuner card and 324Meg of ram and a 120GB drive. I haven't bought one yet but will be getting video card with tuner out to connect to my S-video on my TV.
My question is is there a performance advantage to going with XP versus 2000. Either one will be a fresh install. Has anyone compared the two.
Great forum and thanks for any help or experiances that anyone can provide.
