There's a few persistant plugins that I can't get rid of. One is the weather plugin another is the VA Panel. I know that deselecting the plugin in the config app just makes the plugin invisible (weather data is still being fetched e.g.) The remove button is always greyed out for me, so that's no option.
Even if I remove the dll. I can still see in the log that e.g. weather forecast is being recieved, or at least that it tries too....
I'm trying and failing to get Rectracker to work properly.
I'm only using RecTracker, not CDK Scheduler, X record or anything else mentioned in the forums.
Rectracker installed ok, relevant lines added to postprocessing.bat and my updateepg script. RecTracker database created ok.
However, duplicates are still being recorded. In the UK, certain channels show the same episode of a show twice a day, so more people can watch it. However, occasionally they will show different episodes on the same day. Hence the need for rectracker to stop duplicate recordings, without missing new episodes.
Firstly, does rectracker allow the GBPVR to record the show, then delete it? Or does it remove the recording from the schedule before the recording happens?
Second, why am I getting two copies of the same episode of a show?
I'm using XMLTV as my epg source.
The contents of my rectracker.log are below. What are subtitles and do I need to change my settings to ensure I get subtitles?
Code:
Command -purge
Show Charmed typically has subtitles
Show The West Wing typically has subtitles
I have this wierd problem, i look through my guide, and i find that show i want to record in this case "Troldspejlet", witch is only shown on mondays at 1730, but when i look in the guide, i find it both monday and tuesdays at 1730?
I use o2grabber, and i checked the xml source file, i do not have the show there on tuesdays.
I did notice that a lot of entries look a bit wierd, like a show starts at 2200 and then the same show starts again 15 minutes later on the same channel.
I tried to empty the EPG data, but no matter what i do it stays there.
Folks,
I didn't know where to post this so I'm putting it here. Sub, feel free to move it if you wish.
Yesterday, I hacked together a quick access database to give me a watch list for either shows I'd like to record if they ever come on, or actors that I like, anything they're listed in (assuming it's in the description - zap2it canada/us has this). I know this feature I'd love built in, but I'd guess it's a low priority given the number of people it can support (ie, US/Canada based on the zap2it outputs) hence my quick effort to do this, given Christmas season is coming and there's a few shows I'd like to record for once and not miss.
It opens to a simple page listing the shows and artists on the right, add any you want. click the "process" button and it returns a list of shows from the epg in gbpvr. From there, you simply pick the ones to record, and click the record button. Done. When it appears, it will appear in your list of recorded shows. It uses the season programming method to ensure it gets a copy (since I find I have a number of conflicts) so at some point, you need to remove the same listing from that list (I know...feature request to check that it's been recorded and take it out directly...)
If you're interested, PM me and I'll email it over. If there's a public posting locations and Sub agrees, I'll post it there if desired.
I've used the DVD2MPEG plugin to rip DVDs, but when I play back the MPEG file over my MVP the image is always slightly larger than my tv screen. Is there any way to correct this?
can somone explain to me how to get comclean working....
what I would like to do is record a show on my pvr.....comclean it

Seen It: How does this factor into CDK for no dupes? I have a few shows recently I have marked seen, but other airings get added. This is bevahoior is like what I'd like it "skip this" function, but how do you tell CDK you don't want an episode recorded (from the remote, prefarably)
Adjust Times in Adv Record: How do these work? I was going to use them to keep my scheduled recordings after a game (adding 13min to the time), but I wasn't sure if I needed to add it to the start, end or both.
