With the Hauppauge 150 card in my Windows PC, when I fast forward or rewind using the Hauppauge remote, the audio is muted when I return to play mode. I am unable to hear the audio again unless I back out to the menu of available recordings and start watching the show again from the beginning. Any solutions? Thx.
I've been having problems for some time now. If I try to record a scheduled recording from the TV guide the play back, whether using GBPVR or Media player is jerky. If I record on the fly using the record button in live tv evrything works fine. I've totally wiped my harddrive and reloaded XP. Downloaded all the latest drivers for my motherboard, PVR350 and .NET. Instlalled and configured the latest GBPVR and I get the same thing. I'm not running any other software. I'm told the method for recording live tv and scheduled recordings is the same but something has to be different. Maybe the recording method is the same, but maybe the recording service calls an additional process thats interfering. I don't think it's a hardware problem because it works with live tv and the Hauppauge software. Timeshifting seems to work fine as well.
Can someone point me in the right direction? There must be a setting someplace or something the recording does different for scheduled recordings. It kind of defeats the main purpose of having the PVR if I can't play scheduled recording.
In the TV Guide/Details/Record popup dialog you are using the "ButtonText" text style for the two buttons at the bottom of the box, "Record" and "Cancel". However, you are not drawing the normal unselected button image. The result for my skin is dark text on a dark background.
Could you change the code to draw the unselected image per the CompositeImage spec?
I am trying to add a second (or maybe even third) column of buttons to the main menu, so every plugin would be selectable without scrolling -> optimal for touchscreensystems.
To be honest, I am not a programmer (and probably never will be:o ), but can anybody please help me?
The EPG Scanning is a Memory Eater!
For any Scanning its need more and more Memory, Please check
the Scanning-Programm!
I Have more than 30 Channels and when I place 512 MB Memory in my System, scannig hang with an Error (one error from config exe and one from drwatson!)
And when config.exe comes at more than 63.000k the cpu-load go to 100%
and then comes the error.
I seem to be having issues when ever I try and load a file with a "-" in the title. The system just locks up, if the file was on a dvd then I can eject the dvd to get control of the system back.
I finaly found a way to fix the screen resoltion problem I've been having. By rolling back the vid card drivers and installing the nero video codec I wa sable to get gbpvr to have the proper aspect ration when running in full screen mode using the vr9 setting. But now there is a noticible stutter in live tv, might a different codec fix this, or more ram (only have 128 in the box )
I am a new user trying to get WinTV PVR USB2 to work with gb-pvr. LiveTv playback runs fine, but most of the keys (all but 2) do not work as documented in the KeyboardReference. (Only Up and Down keys work sometimes, but none other like Ctrl-G or Ctrl-B or F1 etc.)
Same with the Hauppauge remote. Channel up and down works sometimes. All other keys do not work.
Well, my keyboard is working
Must be missing something basic, that I am having trouble with something so basic. Any ideas?
