I am trying to get girder to change channels on my settop box (Dish 301) through GBPVR. I have the gbpvr GML and the MCE Remote plugin loaded in Girder (I have a MCE 2004 remote & IR Blaster).
It looks like GBPVR is sending the events GB_TUNE_0 thru 9 to the Girder internet server but I see this error in the Girder Window.
Parse Error ChannelDelay
Is there any way we can change the channel delay settings either in GBPVR or Girder?
Well, I guess I wasn't a careful shopper. I bought and installed a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 350, and have discovered that it only records 1 show in a specific timeslot. Evidently, I cannot record 2 shows, on different channels, in the same timeslot - simultaneously.
What should have I bought to do this? There are several shows that are on at the same time/day that I want to record.
Every time I amend something in config, the recording service tries to restart and throws the attached error message. Any ideas what I should be looking for to correct this?
I'm running on an XP box with an Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T PCI card.
Thanks
Bert

I only watch tv in timeshift format. I always took to mean I was I was watching a higher-quality recording, as it recorded. But it seems like GB treats or handles them differently. Is this true, and if so, how is it different?
In playing w/ the vNivida decoder w/ HW accel on, I noticed it is only jerky when watching a recorded show. When I watch live tv timeshifted, it plays just fine. Every recording I have that I play is jerky. Both are using the nVidia decoder, and the only difference in the encoding settings (med and live) is < 3000 in video rate (audio the same).
Some time ago I tried to install a PVR-150 into a system that already had a 250 in it. The blaster in the 150 would not work in that configuration. Has anybody figured a way to use the builtin blaster on a 150 when a 250 is present?
as my system is already in a constant state of 2 steps forward, 1 step back with various updating / tweaking, i will wait for a braver soul to take point...

EDIT: ah, scratch that. i see that although the MS site says that the release date was 05/11/03, people have been discussing the full release since last week. sorry for the wasted electrons. also sounds like the peeps who have installed it have not been swallowed into the bowels of hell and lived to post.
Have installed and configured the 2 TV tuners on the card and its working excellent with xml EPG - however would also like to setup the FM Tuner. Can see its listed in the plugins in the config utility, however when I try to scan from the GB-PVR it says "unable to locate FM tuner". I can access the FM Radio Tuner from my MCE application, however would like to be able to use the GB-PVR as I think this is a much more userfriendly (more flexible) program. Do I need to install some driver or what?
regards
Jakob
I have installed the latest version of GB-PVR, and I'm using a Hauppauge 350 with it...
I would like to record TV shows without the commercials. I've installed the comskip files, but it appears to be something that I can use while viewing commercials.
I want a way that removes them entirely from the video file. I've downloaded TV shows (torrents) that people made without commercials, and they are excellent.
How can I do this? Please point me to some step-by-step instructions for an effective method.
If I open the wiki in Firefox then the main panel stays empty (blue)
The navigation bar and the top bar appear.
I can navigate to other subjects but none of the appear.
If I hit the top edit butten I can edit the contents of the main panel. When going back still nothing in the main panel
With IE everything works.
