  TV Guide on MVP
Posted by: DenverDon - 2005-11-04, 02:08 PM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (8)

Live and recorded TV looks great on both of my TV's using 2 MVP's and GBPVR. My only issue is the TV Guide. The Guide is crystal clear on my computer monitor by almost unreadable on the TV's. The text is no longer crisp. Is there a solution to this or is it 'just the way it is'? All of GBPVR's menus are fuzzy too but because they use a larger font then the Guide they are not as bad. Because of the readability issue with the TV Guide I have not rolled this out to the family yet. Any help will be appreciated...

  Manage Recordings Multiple Delete
Posted by: Murdock - 2005-11-04, 01:59 PM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

I Tend To Get A Large Amount Of Redundant Recordings Showing Up All The Time. I Would Like To See A Check Box Next To Everything On The Manage Recordings Page. You Would Simply Select 'Check' What Ones You Wanted To Delete Then Click On Delete.

This Would Really The Sometimes Lengthy Chore Of Selecting 1 Canceling Recording Waiting For System To Remove And UpDate Page Then Scrolling Back Down The List Finding The Next One Etc.

Thanks..!

  no audio in dvr-ms files
Posted by: moosekaka - 2005-11-04, 01:35 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I'm trying to play back dvr-ms files I recorded on my Media Center 2k5 PC on this Win2k machine using gb-pvr. I see video but I don't hear any audio. Avi and mpeg files play fine with both video and audio. I played around with all the Playback settings in gb-pvr config but still no audio. I'm stumped.

any ideas?

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

  GBPVR and Tuner Card
Posted by: toto - 2005-11-04, 11:35 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

I was wondering if GBPVR supports tuner cards off line, whether one can watch TV from the tv card itself without the internet?

  DVB Radio and Seek bar
Posted by: Huugs - 2005-11-04, 10:18 AM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (5)

Hi. It would be good to be able to listen to th dvb radio with the nova-t i keep getting an error message "object reference not something to an instance of an object". Not a nessecity but would be nice.

Also youve got the time bar that shows how far through the recording you are would it be possible that you can click it to seek to that time rather than keep having to skip a minute at a time?

  GB-PVR Virgin w/new HP 350 Needs Help
Posted by: raeba - 2005-11-04, 08:01 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (6)

Hi,

I just installed a Hauppauge Win-TV-PVR 350 card, and installed the most recent version of GB-PVR. I have Comcast cable connected to the card.

I don't know where or how to get a RPG Source, so that I can use the software.

I'm not sure of what the advantages are of using GB-PVR, as I am just learning. I heard that it was the only free software that I could use that will record TV without commercials. Is that true?

Please help me setup this software...thanks!

Hugs,

Raeba

  Should GBPVR control PC Volume?
Posted by: jtrahan - 2005-11-04, 05:06 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I'm using new Hauppage 350 with 45 button remote. When I hit the volume buttons on the remote nothing happens, either in "Live TV" or while watching a recording. Is GBPVR supposed to control the volume on the PC?

I also started using USB-UIRT tonight and trained it for my RCA IP box without any problems. when i hit the volume buttons on the remote now I can see USB-UIRT flashing.

The program seems to work with unicode pretty well. i have translated some of the interface into Chinese using UTF-8; Everything shows correctly.
The Chinese Filename shows ok on Video Library:
The problem is words shows on GB-PVR is too pixelated, not smooth at all.
the words gets even worse oh the video playing screen.

I wish GB-PVR should have an option to choose the font for the skin.
and also the ID3 in mp3 files are not working for Chinese, even i can play them.
