I was hoping to pick up a Logitech Harmony remote to combine all the devices I have: 2 DVD players, VHS, TV, Receiver, CD Player and MVP.
Looking into the Logitech site, it seems like a confusing choice between the models. Does anyone have experiances with one of these remotes and an MVP, and wants to share their story?
Does anyone have an idea what can cause the recording service to crash? It tends to do that when I start recording a show. The message it pops up is:
GBPVRRecordingService.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services:
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0x37c (892), Thread id=0x750 (1872).
Could it be a configuration thing?
I'm using GB-PVR v0.94.13.
Thanks for all of your hard work on commercial editing. I used comclean (V006) and then retime to edit out commercials and fix the joins. Unfortunately, the audio was slightly off in the final version. Is there a fix for that? Has anyone else reported this kind of discrepency?
Other than that, I really liked the speed and ease of these two apps. I liked that I am able to use the .txt file from comskip and edit the location of the commercials by simply editing the frame numbers in the txt file.
Using v0.94.13 of GBPVR with no problems on PVR150.
Now trying to configure GBPVR using TV2000 card using WDM Software Encoder Recorder. In config (config screen >> capture sources tab >> Add >> Recording Source) there is no selection on the dropdown for "WDM Software Encoder Recorder".
I've just moved from the hauppage scheduling 'free' software that came with my 350 card to GBPVR. and I'm most impressed. however I have noticed one thing. my record programes are hugh with regards to my old mpegs from the hauppage software.
1 hours of Tv from hauppage was about 1Gb
1 hours of TV from GBPVR is 1.8Gb so I'm eating hard disk space twice as fast as before,
At the moment I´m building a Multi-Media-Jukebox, which I´m planning to use as a little high-tech-gadget in my kitchen. I´m going to install a touchscreen and there´s the problem. The gbpvr osd hardly provides for any scroll buttons (if any at all). Is it possible to integrate scroll buttons into the osd?
Could anybody please help me?
