Does someone know how to tell windows to reposition a window at the top left corner of a screen?
My VC++ installation has a corrupt help system so no help.
At first I want to thank you for this genius tool gbpvr. I really love this program and the functions I've never seen before.
I have problems with more than two in one computer BDA-cards. I want to install 4 TechnoTrend Budget (1400series) DVB-S cards in one computer (also known as Hauppauge Nexus-S). As OS will Windows 2000 running.
I'm using TT-BDA-Driver and tried Versions: 4.4.10.2, 4.4.10.4 and 4.4.10.5(the MCE2005 ones). When I have more than 2 cards installed it seems GBPVR got problems to build the graph with the right connectors:
The config.log always said Can not build graph and ERROR_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED; When I load the graph.grf into the GraphEdit out from the MS-DirectX SDK It says Error Device not connected.
I tried out that that when I rebuild the graph manually I need to really watch out with 4 same named Capture and Tuner entries, so just for testing I edited the TT inf-files and created for every device a driver pack with ending #1 - #4 to have pseudo sorting. When I rebuilding the graph manual again it works again but has still the problem the system not recordnised the sorting for the capture entries. Just the Tuner was not ended with #1 - #4. So it's always luck to link the right tuner with the right capture device.
I wanted to create 4 pseudo device in the BDA.inf to let controll GBPVR all 4 cards, always like Hauppauge Nova-S#1 - #4 and device number 1 where every (BDA)PIN is significant (is it right english?).
I'm confused because the TechnoTrend BDA-Sample got the right connecting even all cards are called on the same, I'm not sure if this problem can be solved over GBPVR but has anybody a solution for my problem?
I forgot: Version of GBPVR is 0.94.13, actual the driver versions of TT are 4.4.10.4 and i don't think it's a problem of codec or demuxer version because even I downplug the number of cards to two all is running fine.
As I didn't found any google entry from the graph error numbers I didn't found any limitations of devices in the MS-DirectX groups.
MVP drops connection when I click either stop or back/exit in the middle of watching a recording. This also happens when I press either button to go back to main menu. The MVP then tries to connect to servers, but it won't. The only way I recover is restarting the recording service. This happens when I use the Video Archive plugin only. It sometimes disconnects with XRecord but it recovers. Has anybody encountered this problem with the Video Archive plugin.
As reference, am using Video Archive to watch only DVDs I converted with DVD2MPEG (I like the way it looks), also this is the latest version of Video Archive, GBPVR 93.13, latest Media DX skin.
Hi Everyone,
I just finished to setup my PVR (KlossPC, 3GHz, 1G of RAM, PVR150 and Radeon X300), and everyhting is working fine under GBPVR, but I do have one problem with LiveTV. Basically, when I first start LiveTV, the picture is in phase with the sound, but after 1.30 hours, I have about 1 second delay between the picture and the sound. Before touching any options in config, I just wanted to see if somebody faced this before...I had a look at the forum and the FAQ, but didn't find anybody with a similar issue.
Any idea why I got such delay on liveTV?

I would like to be able to do the file conversion on a specific folder. Then I could set it as the archive folder and convert everything in it. This way I could save hd space on my older recordings but maintain the commercial detection on newer stuff.
Hi, Could someone please explain in detail how to include a Jpg Icon for the media files or Video files i have. I would like to use Pictures to show what Video files i have rather than Text. I read that you have to import the file into the file with the video and change the name to default.jpg. I did that and it still will not show the Jpg file. THanks
Hello, I tried recording with GB-PVR and seem to have white dots and a line at the top. I have the Plextor PVR-TV402U. I know the line is closed captioning codes and I am wondering how I can crop it out. I was able to eliminate this from the live TV mode using FFDshow and the crop feature, but FFDshow doesn't work when recording TV. I love the software and it would be even better if I could get this fixed. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I have been making some custom mods to the MountainLake skin and have everything done except ....
The verbiage for the status (selection description). I want to change things like the description for Recordings says "View programmes you have recorded. Browse or remove future scheduled recprdings" ... Where do i cahnge this? I think it is in the main program somewhere, not the skins.
The other thing I want to chage is the color of the time indicator arrows on the TV Guide. The little arrow indicators that show approximate current time on the grid. Where can i edit the settings for these?
I noticed that the list of channels on the Channels Tab is not updated when a capture source and its associated channels are deleted from the config. Is this done on purpose or merely an oversight?
