I have a question about the way "Groups" work under the Advanced Tools select button on the Channels page.
Is there a way, when clicking on and highlighting a group, that just that group of channels will be displayed on the page while the others are hidden until they are selected?
If not, is there a way to incorporate this behavior? As it is right now, it is kind of a PITA having to scroll down 1000's of channels to reach the group I want to work on.
When clicking on the wrench to edit a channel, is it possible to add a "Trashcan" on the "Edit Channel Details" page? Once again, scrolling down, selecting a channel to delete and then having to scroll all the way back up is time consuming.
Finally, for now, is there any way to make the "Name", "Details", "EPG Source" columns expandable? Mainly concerned with the "Name" column as it would be easier to see the end of a name while scrolling rather than having to actually click and select it.
I'm not new to NextPVR - used GB-PVR a very long time ago - but lots changed since then and after a failed attempt with Plex I'm now trying to get NPVR going on a Mac...
So far, seems great. It works, picked up my HDHR right away, EPG updated and looking good, recordings working.
Now, I need to covert the .ts files into something mp4 and move them over to my Plex library (as we have Plex clients all around the house).
However, I don't see anything in the setup at all for post processing.
Super frustrated. I finally got this to work, or so I thought, but now it looks my iptv account keeps disappearing from the device list and I have no idea why. I'm unable to schedule any recordings or do anything else at all. Attached is a log. Hopefully someone can help!
Not sure if this is specific to linux so I'll put this here. if this isn't the right place feel free to move it. On several occasions I've had live TV play with the alternate audio stream (Spanish) when starting a stream in Kodi. It's only happened 4-5 times in the last couple months but it's happening none the less and I never had it do that in V4.
It just did it about 1:10 or so and I had just rebooted the server not long before that so the log attached should be fairly clean. Best i can recollect this is when I started the stream but I'm not 100% positive. As soon as I thought of it I saved the log which is attached. The client was Kodi on an OMSC Vero4+ this time, but it's also happened on on a RPi3 running OSMC Kodi as well as on a web stream on a android phone so I don't think this is a problem on the client end. Just really odd, and it doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason when it occurs.
When opening the desktop app, settings window, the right hand side is cut off and can not be resized. My Windows resolution is set at 1024x768. See Attached.
Could someone tell me the following? I have version 4 installed. I want to try out version 5. I can't figure out how to stop version 4 from starting upon Windows restart and have 5 start instead. Can anyone give me some directions. I have followed the Windows 5 installation instructions.
When editing channels, if I select the Channel "Name" and Press delete, as if trying to delete characters in the name, I get a message asking if I want to delete all channels. See attached
As a WMC/MCE refugee, I use a RC6 MCE IR USB compatible remote receiver to launch and control viewing with NextPVR on a Win10Pro PC. I had a need to launch the 'Subtitles' sub-menu when viewing (playing ?) a recorded show, which is easy to do with a keyboard and Ctrl-X, but my media PC is set-up as an Appliance without a keyboard. My solution was to download 'AdvancedMCEmapper' (https://app.box.com/s/6zab0xg9k3n3wl09wtm7) and remap the unused 'Red' button to Ctrl-X. AdvancedMCEmapper must be run as Administrator to allow you to save the new key map in the registry. AdvancedMCEmapper might only be compatible with a RC6 MCE IR remote, so your mileage may vary. It is always a good practice to backup the key mapping before you change it. A picture of the remapped key in AdvancedMCEmapper is atttached.
This is New territory for me installing apps on a Sony Bravia Android TV.
I found NextPVR in the Google App Store and tried to install it. It asks to purchase the app which I already have on an iPad tablet. So I chose to purchase a copy for the TV. Then an error screen appears to advise I have already purchased the app and there is no option offered to install it. I tried twice with the same result.
I have received 2 emails which has made 2 purchases for NextPVR from my Google account, then 2 further emails that refunded me.
I was having a problem with NextPVR latest 4.xx release finding my tuner where I would have to rescan the channels to have make the tuner available. While playing with the settings I checked "use as a server" know when I try to load the program I get this error: Server database not found at:\\hushpc\npvr\npvr.db3
I uninstalled and reinstalled the software but the error persist. I even went into the Regedit and erased what I saw for nextpvr and that didn't help.
I must be missing something.
Any other ideas?
