Like several others here I use a gyration mouse and keyboard to access my HTPC (I love GBPVR!!!) and would love to be able to use GBPVR with this (or any other mouse) instead of a remote.
I realize that GBPVR's focus is for use with a remote, but was curious if anyone had a solution for using a mouse.
Thanks
JMS
PS. You can add some of the remotes functionality using the programable keys on the gyration mouse, but still doesn't get you all of the way there.
I'm Currently useing a streamzap remote and not that I don't like it I would just like to be able to fix a few of the commands on it ie. ff rwd ect.. However I right now would like to go the simpler route and buy a different one 1 and I would like to know what most people are useing and how they like it.
my problem is with my scheduled recordings. i had three scheduled recordings that were scheduled in a previous install (earlier version), and when i look at the details they show as a season record, etc etc. when i schedule a season record now in 0.94.13, it shows in its details as a one show record, but still seems to record based on a season record. my other complaint is that it will not record the next upcoming show in the season record guidelines provided, but will start with the 2nd upcoming show. very odd.
If you plan to set up a media server at home with tv-tuners and all your media stored it would be nice with a gbpvr-client to use on other pc´s around the house. I do have a MVP that works great but need the same functions on other computers.
SageTvClient is exactly what I mean but gbpvr is far more better (in my opinion) and I want to use that as "server".
Has anyone started a project for WAP access to the web interface? I'm considering doing it (starting at a very simple level), but only if noone else is at it...
when i pause a playback a long time and than resume it, it jumps the minutes the playback was paused forward.
i`m using the intervideo decoder filter with vrm9, 'coz with overlay the Ratio Scaling
didnt work and when i want to watch LiveTV it takes about 1 Minute until it starts.
But all other Decoder Filters didnt work such good as this one.
With DScaler and vrm9 i have e.g. problems with skipping within the playback
(it hangs sometimes) and when using overlay i cant watch livetv and the
playback of recordings is flickering.
My cyberlink decoders crash when trying to playback any record.
When I see Live TV on my PVR 350, Gbpvr use my TV out slot. But I can't see any AVI or DIVX video with this card.
How can I configure Gbpvr to use my s-video slot on my video card (Gforce 2 Mx) and not use my tv-out slot on my PVR350 Card ?
thanks
i just thought about some improvement in the my programs plugin:
- A free structure instead of the four points would be nice. I'd liked to build my own virtual folder tree and to have in each folder another app/emu running.
- Edit Button to edit the entires you have
- Save icon-pictures to another folder then their corresponing files. Would be very nice for CDs.
- Possibility to have more than one program (emu) to be used in one virtual folder (maybe even from different source folders for the roms). Would be very nice if you liked to categories games from diffent consoles/PC together. Let's say for example FinalFantasy, i have some of them for PC and some other for PSX would be nice to have them in one virtual root
I was thinking that when a recording is scheduled for a certain block of time that it could somehow be reflected in the timeline of the TV Guide. Maybe the foreground or background of the text in the timeline could change color. This would help the user to avoid conflicts at a glance.
Hi sub, how do I turn off the 1 hr recording limit for each file for manual recording? In addition, can you add a function with allows the manual recorded clips be store in other folder other than the TV buffer portion?
