Hi sub, how do I turn off the 1 hr recording limit for each file for manual recording? In addition, can you add a function with allows the manual recorded clips be store in other folder other than the TV buffer portion?
heres the beta of my music 3,
new stuff
- genre sorting (under "sort by")
- top 100 (under "sort by")
- album info from amazon.com (at the moment use the "record" button or ctrl-k, can be changed under keymappings/mymusic.xml)
- to view the album info use the "menu" button (can also be changed in keymappings)
- burning cds is now done by expressburn (set the location of burn.exe under the "other" tab in the settings).
- ripping is done by dbpoweramp (still) i suggest using dbpoweramp 10 (11 you have to pay for)
- when the cd is ripping it now says a percentage, and hides the ripping window created by dbpoweramp
- you can burn an album under the "album" view.
err lots of other crap, mostly just bug fixes, improvements etc other the last one. the database will be updated when you run it (the old database tables arent used at all, ill write some code to delete those tables in the final vesrion if they are found).
theres probably something in this that i forgot and wont allow you to run it, but give it a go and let me know if you can actually run it.
oh and the music tracks are sorted by their actually filenames and not by the display names, so if your tracks are stored like [blah blah blah][tracknum] - [song], they might appear out of order (its much quicker sorting by filename and only loading the song info when needed.).
The reason I ask is because I have a PVR-150MCE (internal) and a Lifeview TVWalker Mini (USB2.0).
When I run GBPVR with BOTH devices installed (and using the Lifeview device to record - I checked the tray status), GBPVR invariably crashes (on the PC or MVP, it doesn't matter), particularly when it is "recording" LiveTV on the USB device.
If I remove the Lifeview device and run ONLY the PVR150, the GBPVR setup is stable as a rock. I have tried multiple combinations of Codecs and Muxes with the Lifeview device installed, as I thought "this must be Codec related". (The Lifeview device works OK through its native TVR, when that alone is used).
It's not that it doesn't work at all, it works for a little while, then (normally after trying to change channels), just gets "stuck" (freezes) on teh TV Window or MVP, although the green icon just goes on showing "recording"....
Before I spring for a 2nd PVR-150 card (to keep my wife happy, she is tiring of my nocturnal attempts to get it to work) is it likely that the USB2 device is simply asking too much of my system?

Wish I can have a small PIP window for SecurityCam, Weather, Calculator, Address Book and other plug-ins while watching LiveTV and/or any recording. So I don't have to leave what I'm watching just to check out the other plug-ins.
When setting up the zap2it settings, it does not allow me to select which guide I want. On my zap2it account, I have 2 listings setup. 1 for basic cable(71 channels) and 1 for digital(200+ channels). How do I pick the listing I want? When I tried other PVR software, it usually asked which listing. BGPVR automatically selected the digital listing, btu I wanted the basic listing.
Looking for assistance to get Emuzed Maui-I support. I have seen other threads about Emuzed cards, but not this one. I am currently using MediaPortal, but it is still too early in software development and doesn't do what I want.
So I was wondering what I would need to do to get it working. I didn't have to install any drivers since they were already included with XP.
Once I get his working, I can't wait to get an MVP and try that with GBPVR.
I am using AV-710 audio card with digital out. Anytime I use FF or RW during playback, I lose audio and the only way to bring it back is to reinstall the card driver which involves several reboots. I tried different audio drivers for the card, all with the same problem. I saw a similar problem in the forum, but I am not sure if it is the same problem. I am using powerdvd 5 for video and Envy24 (card driver) for audio in GB-PVR config. Help please!
I have been running off of the onboard SIS video chipset for a while (Shuttle bareboes PC). I have grown to dislike the video out for countless reasons. My question is, what is the best video out card that I can use? My TV has SVideo, coax, and RCA inputs.
I have read alot about the VGA converters and what not, but I am unsure as to what my best options are. I would like to have full OSD and all of the other advanced features that GBPVR supports.
