Hi,
I'm new to GBPVR. I got it working last night but now every time I try to record something or watch live TV, I get this error
GBPVRRecording Service.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Service
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0xd70(3440), Thread id=0xdb4(3508)
When I press "debug" it gives me this message:
Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an error code of 0x2(2) Please check computer settings.
cordbg.exe !a 0xd70
Any ideas on what I should do?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
After channel 35 I can see the channels but no listings. If I attempt to go past 35 it crashes out of the guide and back to the main screen with an error about missing inputs or something. After the error the remote will and guide will not work until I restart gbpvr.
I have tried everything I can think of to fix it.
I tried to empty the epg (wouldn't empty)
I deleted the source and rebuilt it and downloaded a new epg, no luck
i have pre-padding set to 3 minutes, but it usually seems to skip this even when there is no other recording before the scheduled one. e.g. something scheduled for 10:00, i see the tray icon red until a few seconds after 10:00:00...
I'm new to GB-PVR so could you help me manually setting up channellists for three Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150? I have to set the channel lists manually because at the moment xmltv doesn't work properly for germany.
I tried to set up identical channel lists for all three tuners, same ordering of channels, same channel names and so on.
I have quite a collection of avi's, most of them 16:9 (widescreen).
When playing back through gbpvr's video library, they go fullscreen, thus distorting badly.
Is there any way to have gbpvr play them back in the proper aspect?
So far, I've been using 3rd party software to play them, but it seems redundant to launch another program, just for avi's.
Is there a SIMPLE step by step guide to getting GBPVR working for the Nova t card?
I am having problems setting GBPVR up with my new Nova-t card. I started out installing the Hauppauge drivers that came with with it. The Hauppauge software seems OK, and using there software I can watch TV (no ITV but that appears to be an arieal issue).
So I then install GBPVR - it installs fine, and I start trying to set it up - all looking OK I add it as a BDA thing, and theres a list which includes my card - all looking good.
Then it starts compalining about missing decodes - MUX thing, so I find some article and down load a copy of MpgMux.ax (included with AutoDVRconvert v1.3). Thats sloved that problem, so Im feeling pretty happy again.
I go back in and try to configure GBPVR again and it lets me get as far as the 'Map digital channels to EPG channels', at this point it says there are no BDA drivers, and promptly crashes.
So now I do a load of reading about BDA drivers and there seems to be some drivers I should have installed (http://www.technotrend.com/english/downl...load.html). But when I run them it says it carn't see the device. Ive tried uninstalling and re-insatlling and all sorts, and I can't get pas this bit.
So I ask again
Is there a SIMPLE step by step guide to getting GBPVR working for the Nova t card?
I have been able to fine tune the wintv2000 that comes with the hauppage pvr150
i get audio on all channels with wintv2000
then i have tried freqcopy
but still no audio on the gbpvr (for the channels 16-20)
I have tried looking at the reg but i have no idea what i am really looking at
I have tried freqcopy with the ant insteady of cable and now i don't get any channels
when i try to run the tuning assistant i am not getting any channels either
Is it best to delete (uninstall) & start over or is there something small that i can do to fix this
For some reason when I go into Web Admin and look at the TV guide, I can see shows up to 7:30PM today. Nothing past that. Nothing for the days that follow either.
