If I use advanced to schedule a recordingof 'SHow A' and get to search all channels for instances of it, it works perfectly.
However if I tell it to just look at one channel, it does not pick up any. (Obviously, i have set it to look at the right channel).
I don't remember this being a problem before - it is not too major becuiase most shows are just on one channel but it can be a bit frustrating when it is on two channels but you just want to record from one.
I'm having a problem with GB-PVR and recording a show in a certain timeslot. The show in question is "The Daily Show", which shows at 12am, a re-run of the previous show at 12:30am, then the same block is repeated at 2am-3am.
Since I record the show nightly, I only want to record the 12:00am-12:30am showing. However, when I selected the option to record all episodes "IN THIS TIMESLOT", GB-PVR marks ALL 4 episodes for recording, including the 2am-3am block.
The timeslot I want to record is 12am-12:30am, and that's how it shows up in the guide. Why would GB-PVR mark for recording shows not only close to (12:30am-1am) that timeslot, but shows over an hour later (2am)?
Hi,
I have enabled the possibility to resume watching a play where it was last stopped.
I have however two problems.
1. When I start to play, the overlay with two buttons "Resume" and "Restart" is displayed . What key on the Haupauge remote do I use to toggle between the buttons?. I think I have tried every key but no luck.
2. Sometimes I only get a blank screen when starting the show. Pressing OK once more will start playing. It looks as if everything works ok only that the picture and overlay seems to be gone. Have tried different decoders but it seems to be the same result, any ideas.
hi there. When i went to watch gbpvr tv there suddenly was no sound. But the recorded show had sound. Currently my speakers are plugged into the sound card and not directly in the wintvpvr 150. does the sound incoming from the cable automatically patch over to the sound card and then out to the speakers or do i need some sort of patch cable. i have a the new updates as of 1 month ago..If you can help that would be fantastic.
I'm interested in coding some plugins of my own. What's the best place, in your opinions, to start when developing a simple plugin? I'm already a .NET developer, so no Hello World stuff.
I am a new user to GBPVR and am loving it!!! I did a search but I cannot seem to find a awnser to a simple question.
When GBPVR is running how do I hide the top windows header (blue one across the top of the screen that says GBPVR and has the minimize,maximize and close buttons). I can get the bottom taskbar to hide with the auto-hide feature.
I know is seems simple but it has me stumped....go easy on the noobie
I've been using GBPVR for several days and love the program. Initially everything worked perfectly, well except for the media mvp, but that was because my wireless network card is junk and now works fine as I have a wired connection. Anyways, now my pvr150 is not working properly in GBPVR. It appears to be running a lower resolution than it previously did, and also has issues with about half the channels. What is occuring is that for a nanosecond when I change the channel the picture is clear as a bell, and after that it almost appears as if there is an overlay of static. Using the supplied Hauppauge software, the tv works great, and also with MediaPortal. I did reinstall the software, wiping away the directory in the process. I was experiencing issues with my older tv card, and ati all in wonder, and uninstalled its software, but I can not recall if the problems begam immediately after doing so. I'm assuming this is a directshow issue as other programs, namly windows movie maker feature similar static when accessing the tv card. This continued even after I uninstalled (using hauppauge's utility) and reinstalled the software for the pvr150. Does anyone know of any fix to this problem, other than wiping my entire computer and reinstalling windows? Is there any other information I can give which would help pinpoint my issue. My TV tuner is a pvr150, on a Dell Dimension 8100 (P4 1.7 GHz, with 512 megs of ram. The video card is an ati all in wonder 9600, with the tv software not so cleanly uninstalled (the uninstall process crashed towards the end).
I think it could possibly be a registry key that is forcing my tv tuner to either preset to another country at a lower resolution, and tune in antenna mode, but I could be completely wrong about both my hypothosized cause and symptoms.
When the hard disk is in danger of being overrun, I'd like to have the option of having the oldest recording autodelete. If a recording has been flagged as permanent, it will not be autodeleted. It's unfortunate to miss a show because I've run out of hard disk space.
Somebody let me know if this is already a feature and I'm just missing out. :p
I am new to all this, having only got my TV card today (AverMedia DVB-T A800 USB). After much reading of the forum I have updated the bda.ini with the following :
[AVerMedia DVB-T (A800)]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=AVerMedia DVB-T BDA Video Capture(A800)
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Antenna In Pin
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
I am not sure if this is correct, but i don't get any errors when I select the card in the recording source.
I have set my EPG to DVB broadcast, but when I click update EPG it just flashes up a window and closes.
My TV card picks up all the channels OK using showshift and the AverMedia software so I know I get reception ok.
I have graphedit installed but not sure how to use it to check the bda is correct.
One other thing - how do I find out my transmitter/region ? I'm in west london.
