I am having a hard time getting 2 tuners to work. Both of them work on their own. When I add a second capture source and schedule 2 recordings, the first recording works fine, but the second says that it's recording, but the file size stays at zero. I found an old thread that solved a similar problem using a hacked nativeutilities.dll file, but that file was removed because it only worked with an old release.
I have Hauppauge PVR250 and PVR150MCE cards.
Any help would be appreciated.
Maybe I'm missing a critical setting (or the whole point of this device) but right now when I surf each channel, it starts recording it. I don't want it to record all the time, by default. I'd like to choose what gets recorded.
Can anyone tell me how to set it to default record off and to record things only when I explicitly tell it to?
I still have couple of 'small' issues I would like to be able to solve. The first one is more important, the other I have to take a deeper look unless there is an easy explanation:
1.
I am recording ~>100 episodes of a cartoon to my kids (~6 episodes/week). The recording is set up as season recording, start 1 minute before and end 2 minutes after.
Every week the channel broadcasts two episodes after each other at one day but GB-PVR for some reason records only the other one (latter).
--> Oh, this just popped to my mind, could it be about the extra pre/post recording time?
2.
Something funny is going on with the timeshift in my PC. If I have it on and I have a scheduled recording that should start, GB-PVR does automatically start recording the scheduled channel, but the files get messed-up or corrupted.
I haven't had time to investigate this so this could be just me messing something up.
I assume that this card is not currently supported as it is not listed in the configuration list. I have tried other ATI card settings but none seem to work. Is there plans to add this card in the near future or do I need to add another card to my system? If so, what is the best choice? I have a brand new HP dual 3GhZ processor Media PC with Windows XP media center edition. I do not like the media center's inability to transfer some recorded tv shows to DVD and want to try this program as an alternative.
Also, do you have a setting to use the Media Center remote control?

Fastfind is one of the most used plugins for me. However, in several cases now I have found that I cannot actually schedule a recording from it. It does find the show. When I press schedule and there is a conflict, and I select cancel other show, that other show is cancelled, but the new one is not scheduled.
Also the use of the telephone style input works a bit quirky. For instance, I wanted to enter Phil (yes, my wife loves the Dr. Phil show), so enter 7-44-4, but how long I wait, the extra 4 changes Ph to Pi...
As a request, it would be even more convenient when entering 7-4-4-5 would render Phil, but all other shows that fit in this combination. (As in the jukebox search module).
I've just upgraded from a wintv usb to a nova-t usb2. I've added it in the epg section as a bda device and have set the epg source to bleb which worked ok before and seems to update ok now(im in the uk)
However, when i click map digital channels to epg channels i get an error message saying that its unable to start the bda device i have configured. It then just sits there and eventually i have to kill it using task manager.
Anyone any ideas on what i've done wrong and how to fix it? could it be to do with the bda mux im using? should this one be ok?

I'm using ShowAnalyzer, and have it set up in preprocessing.bat via PVRPowertray, using comskip proxy to make it run.
Postprocessing.bat then does comclean and rename recordings.
This all works splendidly.
The latest version of SA, allows selectable profiles, based on channel number, channel name, and a few other options. It also allows one to select individual .ini files (containing the specific settings).
I would like to know how to get the channel number from gbpvr, and have SA use a profile, based on that channel number.
I know how to do it manually, but that defeats the purpose of having SA automatically run, and comclean.
I'm thinking that preprocessing.bat could be modified to include multiple profiles, based on the channel being recorded, something such as this:

Hi all. I was wondering which of these models is best for GB-PVR?
I would like to build an HTPC that allows me to use GB-PVR on my 53" widescreen, as well as play standard .WMV, .MOV, .AVI, .MPG files from my harddrive.
I noticed that the PVR-150-MCE has RCA jack hookups, and the PVR-150 doesnt but comes with a remote.
Oh, and I have DirecTV, if it makes a difference. Thanks to anyone who can help.
Hi, I just added this in the wishlist, but maybe this feature already exists and I just can't find it.
I have some movies that have 2 different languages on each speaker output, so I would normally select mono left or mono right on my dvd player to play them. Basically it plays 1 side of the speakers source on both speakers.
Is there a feature like this on GBPVR already that I am missing? Or is there a plugin that may have this?
