Hi, I installed .355 to try and fix teh memory eror with images. That seemed to work, but a recording we tried last night failed. It was on a Family Guy show which was also one of the shows that had a memory error before, so perhaps it is related to the same error. I have attached the recordings log. Is this an error with Xrecord, or something to pass on to 'sub'?

I've been using GBPVR for some time now and I believe its a great product. My last two (separate) recordings were scheduled for ch 5. Both were completed and apear in the ready recordings list as recorded from ch 5. The contents of the recordings is, however, from ch 47. What could cause the problem?
I schedule my recordings manually (no EPG) from my PC. I remember updating the recordings while watching ch 47 on my MVP. But that was more than a day before the recordings took place.

Any suggestions?

I finally figured out what an MVP is. I don't quite understand how it works with the network and all. Can someone give me a run down on how it works and why I would want one (vs. having a PC with TV out)?

I'm trying to play some XVID avi files on my MVP with the latest version of GBPVR.

I always record the programs in mpeg, edit out the adverts, then convert to xvid.

All of my avi's play fine, with the exception of one series, and I cannot understand why?

The avi's start to play, go in between 10 seconds and about 40 seconds, and then returns to the menu. As this doesnt happen with the others, I'm trying to work out what is causing this behavior.

I dont think it's a problem with trans2mp, as if I pause it before it returns to the menu, trans2mvp happily keeps transcoding and the file grows fine.

I dont think it's a problem with the output file, because if I pause it and allow trans2mvp to keep transcoding to it's temporary file - make a copy of the file before it's deleted, and then try to play it directly, the MVP plays it no problems past the points it normally exits out on.

As far as I can understand, for no reason, it decides to stop playing the perfectly fine and perfectly generated transcode mpg, and I cant seem to find out why

I am trying to setup GBPVR. I am in Pennsylvania and have the EPG Source set to Zap2it. I have entered my correct username and password. These are the only settings available to me. When I go to update the EPG, I am told my source settings are not correct. Waht is the correct why to setup GBPVR to use Zap2it? Do I have to download an additional plugin? thanks.

Here in the UK we get a pretty comprehensive XMLTV program description which means the program info gets 'chopped off' half way through. I was wondering if there is a way to increase the 256 limit so we can see all the program details?

i would like the option (in the skin) to display more information about the video file on the onscreen display. things like
- frame rate
- frame size
- aspect ratio
- video codec
- audio codec
- how many audio channels
- audio khz
- audio bitrate


also option to switch between audio tracks (divx 6 allows you to do this via the taskbar icon when playing back .avi files thru gbpvr now, but it would be nice if you could do this directly from gbpvr).

I have been running Windows MediaCenter 2005 for a few months now and i'm thinking about doing a swap to GBPVR but I have a few doubts my hardware consists of

Shuttle SB65G2
Pentium 4 3.0ghz HT
200 GB Harddrive.
1 GIG DDR400 RAM
Radeon 9700 Pro
Avermedia DVB-T USB 2.0
Hauppauge NOVA-T USB 2.0
V-Stream DVB-T USB 2.0

My questions are

(1) Can I use all three DVB-T Devices with GBPVR so I can record 2 progs and watch another at same Time?

(2) How stable is GBPVR?

(3) Will my MCE USB Remote work with it?

(4) Is there support for DVB-T Radio?

(5) Is anyone doing a plugin for mame?

(6) I currently use a VGA<>SCART at 1024x576 25hz Interlaced with slight overscan so I get true widescreen will GBPVR Run in widescreen with this res?

Hi

I'm recording composite video signals using a PVR-350, these are saved as an mpeg file.

What I'm trying to do is, convert some of the films I've recorded, from mpeg to DVD.

What is the easiest way? Every thing I've tried so far seems to take about 5 hours to convert and ties the pc up with the processor going at 100%.
