  sageredo
Posted by: henning - 2005-08-27, 04:28 AM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (2)

sorry if this is a little off topic.

after a harddrive crash I seem to have lost my only copy of the sageredo executable. I tried a goodle search and there are lots of people referring to the program but no one has it available for download. Can anyone point me to a site.

Henning

ps. The drive I lost had my recordings on it and thus was not backed up. Unfortunately the sageredo was there too.

  Xrecord error message
Posted by: bramwell - 2005-08-27, 03:53 AM - Forum: Developers - Replies (10)

I do not know if this is the proper place to write this, however, I am following the link from the GBPVR support page. I have upgraded to the most recent form of GBPVR and switched to the blue skin. I then downloaded and installed the latest version of XRecord. I followed the installation instructions and the options are now in the menu for GBPVR. When I click on the Xrecord option, an error immediately arises that says the "Font Arial doesn't support textstyle Regular" . I cannot get it to work. Any ideas on what to do to get Xrecord working?

Thanks
Bramwell

  Xrecord (XSearch) crash, v355
Posted by: BobAtTorrey - 2005-08-27, 03:15 AM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (3)

jorm,
I got the following screen message in XSearch:
"Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index"

The way I got there was I did a search from the keyboard to find a particular program program name. Then I changed the 'category' [not sure what you call it] above the column from "Name" to "Genre" (which is misspelled, by the way -- it reads "Genere" on the screen). Then I hit OK on the remote control, and got the error listed above.

  MVP hangs
Posted by: Lindsay - 2005-08-27, 01:46 AM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (6)

Just recently my MVP is hanging while viewing pictures. It seems to be doing it with the larger image sizes like 1.2MB for example. Is there an image size limit for the MVP? Everything else seems OK, including image viewing on the computer. Live TV and videos are fine so bandwidth is OK.

(I have the latest GBPVR ver - didn't notice the image prob with prev ver but this could be completely coincidental).

TIA.

In windowed mode, force right ratio
Posted by: Lajoie - 2005-08-27, 12:41 AM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

I think it would be useful to have GBPVR to force the correct ratio (4:3 / 16:9 depending on the video source) when in windowed mode.

And when in Full Screen mode, maybe that GBPVR could force a pre-defined resolution (let say 720X480), like games do... Like this, I would not be forced to use Overlay with Theater Mode for my output to TV.

  Composite Image Keywords
Posted by: reven - 2005-08-27, 12:26 AM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (1)

it would be nice if there were a few things that you could put into any composite image eg @Time, @Date, @DateTime, no matter what image they were in gbpvr would just automatically insert the @time and @date. that would just make it possible then to display the time anywhere in gbpvr.

  Skin question

I haven't started using this software yet because my card and remote is still in the mail. But I am curious are you able to put in any picture you want for this programs background? Or does it come with the ones you can use?

  Xrecord font problem
Posted by: bramwell - 2005-08-26, 10:29 PM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (2)

Hi,
I just installed the latest version of Xrecord (this is the first install). When I click on the Xrecord button in GB-PVR, I get a error message that says that the font "Ariel" does not support style "Regular". Any ideas as to how to get rid of this message? I would like to see how xrecord works.

Thank you in advance for your help.

  DirecTV - Best remote?
Posted by: squareslinky - 2005-08-26, 09:55 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

I have been testing all of the versions of this type of software (BeyondTV, SageTV, Meedio, GBPVR, and ran Windows MCE for a while). The free version is blowing away the competition in the field! (I plan on donating to help the cause).I even bought a new TV card just so I could test out GBPVR (it was not compatible with my Avermedia). I purchased the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 and have it running almost fine. I have a problem with the remote that came with the TV card and need some help.

The system I am running is with DirecTV. I have the WinTV-PVR 150 tv card and the Hauppauge remote. (I also have a MCE remote, but it seems to have stopped working properly since I tried installing it on my XP Pro system). My problem is when I hit the Hauppauge remote it changes to channel 4 and that is it. It does change the channel, but nothing else. On my DirecTV channel 4 is nothing, but it is the default channel for the TV. Any ideas on what I am missing on my set up? Or is this remote the best route for this set up? Can I use the Snapstream RJ6-DB9 Serial Cable for the hook up to make channel changing smoother?

Thank you.

  Video and Audio not Syncing
Posted by: mas0nite - 2005-08-26, 09:48 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

This is a great program, but my problem is that the video starts to slow down after watching it for more than 15 mintues. This means that I hear the audio slightly before the video happens. This happens when I use LiveTV and when I use LiveTV with timeshifting. I have 2 tuners set up pvr150 and pvr250. Any Ideas on how to fix this?
