I am thinking about using using GBpvr and I have 1 pvr150 and 1 pvr250 (both non MCE). They both have remotes and I was wondering if I just use one can the one control everything. I know this is a stupid question but I just want to make sure. Thanks.
Just wondering if its possible for the MVP to run Doom? If it runs linux it possible to run Doom, correct? Or is the processor too slow and specialized? I'm a linux newb so I can't do it but curoius if any one has thought about it.
I've just installed GB-PVR and all goes well until I come to map digital channels to EPG channels. The dialog box comes up requesting me to point to a folder. The trouble is that the program freezes at that point and the only recourse is to kill the process. So the main program can't see the channels.
I am running Windows 2000 Professional with SP 4. The capture card is a Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T which is working fine with WinTV2000. If you need any further details I'll be happy to provide them.
By the way, what folder am I looking for? The documentation does not help, it does seem to be a little out of date. It doesn't tell me what the column 'Tuning requests' is for. Is there a way of manually assigning channels? :confused:
I'm sure Im not the only one who has a TV set in the bedroom. I was wondering if someone has considered an 'alarm clock' type plugin. I was kind of hoping to start the day by having songs from my classic collection played to me softly (and increasing in volume until I awaken).
It seems an easy to make and obvious application/plugin for GBPVR, did I miss something? Is it maybe implemented in another plugin and I missed that?
I'am not sure if i am missing something, but how do i use/configure the FM radio function with a Hauppauge PVR-USB2 and MVP in combination with GBPVR? It seems that this is not possible?

With Hauppauges WinTV 2000 I am able to tune to Sky One (from Britain) on its channel 19.
If I attempt to find Sky One using GB-PVR's tuning assistant app it just can't find it. The channel is coming in though Telewest analog cable and gives a good picture in WinTV 2000. I have tried the GB-PVR tuning assistant with cable connection and antenna connection and neither can find the channel.
I'm assuming that the channel number that GB-PVR uses is different to that used by Hauppauge - is this correct?
Any ideas anyone? Or, on the slight chance that someone here is also receiving Sky One (analog) from Telewest, could you please tell me the GB-PVR channel you are using?
Anyone managed to use the channel change feature to switch a Pace 4001 cable box? Have tried using the IR unit supplied with the MCE remote and not managed to get it working. Any advice/help would be appreciated

I just got a PC Chips MB-825G motherboard and I put a Sempron 2800 on it. Everything works fine, except that the motherboard does not recognize my Hauppauge PVR-150 card... it's like it is not there at all. I know the card works because I used it in another computer. I also tried other PCI cards on this new motherboard, and they work. So, there is some compatibility issue between the PVR-150 and this PC Chips motherboard.
I read some places that people have issues wtih VIA chipsets and Hauppauge cards.... what can I do to fix these compatibility issues? The chipset is a VIA KM266Pro. Will a PVr-250 work?
