I am a newbie with this gb-pvr. I installed it with few difficulties. I am able to watch live tv for about 30 seconds to a minute and then it kicks out to the main menu. I am not sure where to go to fix this but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. If you need more information I will be happy to supply that here.
Win2k sp4, 1GB RAM, Hauppauge PVR350
For me everything works perfectly including livetv.
My only problem is viewing a movie via MVP that is just recording.
When I´m starting viewing, lets say 20 minutes after the recording began, timeline stays at 20 minutes all the time and is not updated. I can watch the movie but skipping or rewinding is not possible but resets MVP.
I´m using GBPVR 0.93.10 and using the dongle.bin provided with this version of GBPVR. No plugins installed, using standard skin.
Computer Specs:
ASUS A7V600-X, Sempron 2400+, 1024 MB RAM, 80+120 GB HD,
Hauppauge PVR 250
How does one configure a http proxy server for the EPG source (zap2it specifically). I've searched the wiki and forums to no avail. I'm running version 0.93.10.
Hey guys, here is my setup, i have been playin around with gb-pvr and am very happy with the interface. here is my hardware setup. let me know what you think

Can someone point me to a good MVP skin that supports video thumbnails - if thats the right word - skin - ...or does the default one do thumbnails that I havent found yet. THanks
After my .exe channel changer for MCE remote controls posted on thegreenbutton forums solution stopped working I've decided to give Girder a go..
Now, being a complete tight arse I've spent a day googling and found the freeware version of girder which after half an hour of tinkering I seem to have worked out. Problem is however I can't seem to get GBPVR and Girder to communicate at all..
If I choose a channel in the TV guide nothing appears to be sent to the Girder web server plugin. A loopback test within girder seems to work though..
Anyway.. I'm almost 90% sure the problem lies with GBPVR afterall my remote setup did start acting funny in the 1st place..
Are there any known issues between GBPVR and Girder that might be causing this lack of communication? I don't have a firewall installed, not even the XP version....
Hi reven, sorry if this has already been covered, but I have noticed that MyVideos still downloads movie information well, and must store this information in its database, as a show/movie picture appears, this seems to be no longer written to disk as a separate folder.jpg image.
Is there anywhere I can change this behaviour? It's just that when browsing the video directories with xrecord or the video library, the show images do not of course appear, and must be re-downloaded.
I've just loaded a trial version of meedio - along with their final release of the TV module. It looks real nice I have to say on my 19" monitor - the only HTPC S/ware so far I've used that seems to scale for higher resolutions.
Pity I couldn't get the TV guide working - even though the channel numbers are present - no info - weird!
Meedio has made big leaps since I last looked at it.
when i enter guide2j gbpvr locks up (it gets stuck in a forever loop) and this is printed over and over again to the log file
