I live in Queensland, Australia. I an new to the PVR thing and have little programing skill. I have instaled GBPVR and and I am having problems tuning the chanels. It when first instaled it tunes the chanels fine but you can only view one chanel, you can not change chanel.
When you go back into setup to fix the tuning it does not tune properly it will only pick up the one chanel, but it goes through the full tuning range.
Can I use an external tuner to set up the chanels?
Am I doing somrthing wrong?
I do not use the EPG as I can't find one for my region.
Hi does anyone know if Sapphire 128MB Radeon X700 Pro PCI-E will work in my pundit-r wich has a P4R8L motherboard 80gig. hard drive and 512 meg. of ram
i use GBRecord in combination with a PVR500 an am very happy with it. The dual-tuner support right now is realized by manually selecting the tuner to use (1 or 2).
I would be very happy if you could implement a "wrapper" function to just use the first free tuner available (or return an error if both are busy). That would give me the chance to manually schedule two concurrent shows without having to fiddle with the commandline in the XP "scheduled task".
Do you see a chance for implementing that feature?
The project, codenamed Pandora, aims to understand how users might navigate programmes. It is intended to answer questions about what television will look like when viewers have access to thousands of hours of on-demand programming.
A prototype of such a device caused considerable interest when it was shown at the Open Tech conference in London.
It includes 3.2TB of hard drive storage. That is around 20 times the amount of storage in the largest Sky+ recorder. It is sufficient to record entire multiplexes of channels for days on end.
Did anyone manage to use his vivo card to get a stream of video (via the VCR) through its video-in and then show the video through the video-out on TV. Thus using this to watch Live TV?
I have been trying so hard with all the media apps and non-works, GBPVR just gets stuck once I switch to Live TV (I have installed the software encoder).
Building the PVR was an interesting winter project and it has worked great since then - well up to a couple of weeks ago ....
Using the XRecord plugin to select a recording to view, I get an error message "Error:Object reference not set to an instance of the object" on some recordings and another error message on others "Error:Method not found:System.String zapmetadata.Schedule.getRatingString()" This all sounds like a database issue but I'm at a loss to explain or fix. Pehaps I missed something in an upgrade or plugin install? Or something worse? Backup copies of the gbpvr.mdb database seem to exhibit the same problem.
GB-PVR v0.92.11 update did not resolve the problem - recordings were missing in the 'update" gbpvr.mdb - so I reverted back to the prior gbpvr.mdb
Hello folks, I've been building my first pvr and had a couple questions I was hoping someone could help with. Firstly, The sound is very quiet in PVR, i've got my computer system volume turned all the way up and the TV playing through GB-PVR is still quiet, is there any way to adjust this? Also, the picture quality is acceptable when running in windowed mode, however when I go to full screen, it gets very choppy. Is this a problem of not having enough RAM (only 256 MB currently) or something else? Finally, is there any way to program additional actions to unused buttons on the remote that came with my PVR-150? Thanks!
Hello, I'm working on building my first HTPC and I've got everything hooked up and running. I'm trying to use the "music library" and "video Library" plugins, however, when I try to access the programs, I get an error that says "Object not found" can anyone tell me what this error means? Thanks
First, let me say that I am VERY sorry if this subject is not worthy of a new thread. However I have searched through the others and have not found what I am looking for.
I am new to GBPVR (3 days) and I seem to be missing the PostProcessing.bat file. (I've searched everywhere). Can someone attach their postprocessing.bat or at least post the contents of theirs? Thanks.
I fixed a lot of object reference not found. There were problems where you delete a recording and it would not clear from guide2j but would be removed from the pending list. And I found that if the gbpvrbackend .dll (something like that) is in the plugin directory gbpvr does not let you schedule. So I wrote an installer that will delete it since it does not belong there.
You do not need to use the CDK scheduler it will be setup for you but you dont need to use it.
If you have tried the guide2j in the past and stopped using it please try it again, and if you have any errors send me the log and I will get it working.
