Is there a way to have tv channel listings in sub categories i.e you select tv guide then have the option of selecting all, Science, News, sport etc?
This would make it quicker to browse the listing.
Is there a way to configure GB-PVR to switch from Live TV to watching a scheduled recording? It currently exits from Live TV to the main menu when a scheduling recording starts.
I've got a PVR150 in my GB-PVR setup running an Athlon 1700+ and was thinking about adding a 2nd tuner. The PVR150MCE seems pretty cheap ($60 w/o rebates) and since already have the remote it seems like a logical choice for a second tuner.
I'm pretty much used to gbpvr and all its plugins as i've spent time going up the learning curve. I've suggested to a couple of friends that they use gbpvr and although there are pretty good with computers they struggle with which plugins and skins are compatable with each other. When I think about it so do I.
reven seems to have come up with an excellent way of version naming for his range of plugins and I am suggesting that we all follow the same convention and have a standard. If this is acceptable I would gladly write it up on the wiki.
I'm sure reven will correct me but here goes. The version tag is made up of 4 digits with a dot seperator as follows:
Major Version . Skin Change . Minor Version . Bug Fix
If a skin developer says that a skin is OK for plugin X version 4.3 then we know it's OK with 4.3.1.2 and 4.3.2.5 etc.
Skin developers can then say confidently that a skin is OK with these plugins with these version i.e. just using the first 2 digits.
I think we should get this established as soon as we can. As I said things are getting more and more confusing as more plugins and skins are being developed.
Woke up this morning, went to Live TV, got this message:
"Error: The system cannot find the file specified"
Sorry I only post when I have problems. Too dumb to be able to contribute anything meaningful!
Thanks
BTW here's part of the log:

Hi,
Running XP with two NIC's (one wireless, one wired). The MVP is connected to the computer through the Wired network.
When the wireless network is enabled, the MVP can't connect to the GB-PVR server; when the wireless network is disabled, it can.
Please tell me how to change the settings that the GB-PVR server always connects to the MVP through the wired network (regardless of the wireless network is enabled or not).

Is it possible to record anytime from the live preview mode without switching to timeshift mode? Using Control-K while in timeshift mode allows me to record anytime but it drops the recorded video in the buffer directory, anyway to make it drop the file in the recording directory?
I've only just got a TV Card - a Hauppage Nova-T. I may be missing something obvious so please forgive me.
I can view Live TV without trouble other than widescreen programming is not being shown in a letterbox on my 4:3 17" flat panel monitor. I can't seem to find anywhere to tell the software that my display is 4:3 and that I want 16:9 material to be letterboxed.
