I've just done a clean install of GB-PVR v92.08 and installed My Videos 4.1.0.0
My Videos doesn't appear in the main menu, here is the section of my logs which is I presume causing the problem.

I use DVD Shrink to rip my DVD's. When it completes it creates a .VOB file which when i rename to .MPEG i can watch without any issue on my computer (video/audio). If i try to stream that same file to my MVP i get Video but no Audio. Anyone else have this issue?
ok what are the plugin developers (and sub, we wouldnt leave you out) thoughts on the common skin issue?
ill implement this first in my pictures, but i want to get a few ground rules laid out first (does that sentence make sense?)
1) where will it be? skin\blue\root or skin\blue\skin.xml or skin\blue\standard or skin\blue\global or something else?
2) what should go in there?
normalbuttonimage
selectedbuttonimage
err thats all i can think of now
3)do we really need this? (since i can only think of two things to put in there)
backgrounds should be kept out of this, since you want specific backgrounds for each plugins. and you cant put fonts in there, since composite images need fonts in the same skin file (maybe in the future there could be global fonts, or would that just complicate things?)
im completely redoing my pictures based on updated versions of my videos (its the best written one out of them, but still should be rewritten ). anyway since im redoing the entire thing, now would be the time to request a feature, so im not trying to squeeze it in later and doing a poor job of getting it in there (ie ill probably run into a design problem or something, lots of those in my videos etc).
so far im probably going to do:
- webcams (similar to the webcams plugin)
- possible a popup menu, with stuff like "print" "email?" (tell me if you would use these)
and probably going to drop
- playlists (since you probably all just start music playback from one of the music plugins)
- rslideshow (does anyone ever use this? its in xbmc so thats why i added it to begin with).
at the moment ive just got it to display in gbpvr (you cant even change dirs yet ). so it will be awhile off (maybe a week, im on holidays).
the skin is completely redone, and ive made askin dir called "my series" which eventually my music/vids/programs/pics will use a skin.xml file in there for all the common elements (eg the different view selectors, menu buttons, popup box etc). which will save on time for skin designers in the future. and with a seperate skin.xml for all the common things, my pictures skin.xml is only about 20-30 lines now (compared to about 200 before).
so you got a feature request post it. a comment post it. you want to bitch about something, yeah post it (might give me a laugh).
Just to show how wonderful this program is. 13 hours in a single 20 Gigabyte file and replay without problems (nice to enter 600 and then skip to jump 10 hours ahead at once; is there any limit here? ;-). Anyone remember how much work it was to tape everything in '85?
There's been a lot of threads about this, but I couldn't find info on my problem.
The MVP is playing recordings fine. When I try to play a divx file though, the audio is always 7 seconds behind the video. It's deterministically wrong, whether I pause, FF, REW, etc.
I've tried turning ffdshow off and that doesn't help (I have the latest version of ffdshow installed, btw). The audio and video are perfectly sync'ed when running GBPVR on the host machine.
I'm going to keep investigating, but anybody has any ideas?
I am using a PVR-150 with GB-PVR and i am using the VMR9 overlay. But no matter what setting I put it on, the video always splits into lines during fast movements. Please help me.
for some stations xmltv (better tvtoday.de) does not provide epg data, so i added them manually to both capture sources.
but now i see them twice in the cannels tab... gbpvr seems not to be able to detect that the channels are the same on two capture sources (name and channel number are identical)
is this a known issue? did i do something wrong? there is nothing obvious in the logs...
