Hi there. It seems most everything is working. I can watch old saved mpgs, use the guide and even record then watch while I'm recording but I cannot go into live tv and get any picture or sound. No channel changing nothing just all black. Hit escape and it takes me back to the menu where I can then again record then watch it. I have a gforce fx 5200 and a pvr250. Both seem to be working fine. I use the hauppauge sw also and its working fine. Any ideas?
Thanks, damon
Sorry for bothering you, but I am getting crazy. I run the last available version of GB-PVR and the plug-in My Music. When I use the built-in Music option of GB-PVR and select an M3U playlist, it plays song #1, song #2 and keeps repeating song #2 forever. CTRL-Right makes it restart and repeat song #2. In My Music the same thing. If I ask it to play all available songs it only plays the one that the cursor is on indefinetely.
M3U files were created by EAC and look like this:
Code:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:563,Diethelm/Famulari - The Flyer
01-The Flyer.mp3
#EXTINF:252,Diethelm/Famulari - Full Moon
02-Full Moon.mp3
#EXTINF:241,Diethelm/Famulari - Basta!
03-Basta!.mp3
The problem did not arise with the installation of the most recent GB-PVR (GBPVR09208.msi), I had it in the previous version as well (GBPVR09112b.msi). It arrived suddenly, I believe after messing with the buttons on the remote, but that could hardly be it.
I am lost... Can somebody with a clear mind give a clue?
Hi all,
I've decided to give GBPVR another crack now there has been a couple of software revisions. I still can't get it working despite installing the latest Nova-T 90002 drivers (preceeded by a thorough clean using the hauppauge utility). The Nova-T works fine with the standard WinTV32 app from Hauppauge but when I try to use GBPVR (selecting 'LIVE TV') I get an error message. They say a picture tells a thousand words, so rather than rambling on, I'm hoping the following screenshots explain.
My card is not listed in the drop down here for some reason.(Hauppauge Nova-T)
Despite the fact that it's configured here:
This is the message I get when I try to view live TV.
Any help?

In the everings, I like to listen to net radio on the Media MVP in my bedroom. Once I start it, I turn off the TV and listen throgh my stereo. It would be great if I could have the Media MVP turn off after some amount of time (or at least stop streaming the music).
I am not sure where this would best go; with the net radio plugin or in the main program. I guess it would be more helful in the main program as most TVs have sleep timers as well.
I'm trying to install and configure gb-pvr with a Hauppauge nova-t usb2 box. The installation went ok without any error message but after configuring the recording source, epg source, pressed the "update epg", as soon as I press map digital channels to epg channels, I get a popup with the following message "GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Chech the device is configured properly and not already in use".
I installed the latest V. 2.0 Hauppauge drivers and also the latest GB-PVR version. WinTV works just fine.
Is there anything I am missing?
I have searched through the forum and nobody seems to have this problem.
I just discovered that in the Ready Recordings list, I can press the blue/green buttons to navigate to the bottom/top of the list. Either it's rather new, or I just haven't played enough with my favorite app :-)
However, this does not seem to work in all lists. For example, in the screen where you can search for a upcoming show, the list of both letters and results, it would be great if we could use the same feature.
Which brings me to a question I've had for a while. In the config app there is a choice to "Treat number keys like mobile phone text entry". Where is this supposed to work? To me it seems natural that it would fit perfectly in that letter list in the search screen. But to me it seems it doesn't. You can add that to my whishlist if I'm not doing something wrong =)
This is just a quickie... when i use GBPVR in full-screen mode the display isnt distorted as such, but it isnt as you would expect! When it is run in windowed mode it is fine, is this because i am running a resolution of 1280x1024?
I have just moved over to GBPVR from Media Portal, so far it seems very stable One problem is when i schedule a recording (2 mins before and 2 mins afer program for adverts etc) is it does not stop, I set it off to record the Big Brother Launch Party at 9pm yesterday, i came in at 2am (yes, im hungover sorry if spelling mistakes!) and it was still recording! And when i closed the recording service, i lost the recording Has anyone else experienced this?

I get this when trying the Live TV feature in the newest verison. I'm using a PVR250 card.
It was working fine yesterday before I installed my new DVD burner and the NERO express software that came with it. I don't think I tried last night after adding that device and software, but today it definitly doesn't work and that the only thing I've changed.
I still get TV when using the TV2000 app that came with the card, just not with the GB-PVR. I've tried a repair and a complete reinstall of the GBPVR but still no luck. I also reinstalled the intervideo codec from the hauppage site.
I have also manually chosen the software decoder as well as uninstalled the nero suite that came with my new DVD burner, but still no live TV. Everything seems to function (recording, playback, etc).
