I noticed an anomaly with the web Guide page. When I click on a TV show it brings up a screen with artwork and info with the episode title, season, and episode number, which is normal. Then, when I close that screen and select a movie I get the artwork and movie info but at the beginning of the movie info is the episode title from the TV show I selected previously. Here are some screen grabs of what I see.

I included the logs where I first select a move, then a TV show, then select the same movie.
If the files/folders in one of my video libraries are significantly updated outside of NextPVR then the NextPVR client often gets confused and has issues displaying and navigating the proper file/folder list, e.g. it can become
impossible to scroll to the beginning or end of the list.
This can be fixed by restarting the NextPVR service.
Is there any way to fix this issue from the client side?
Restarting the client seems to have no effect.
I use a generic Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad to control Kodi/Knewc/NextPVR
on an Android 8 Sunvell TV Media Box model T95M.
The keyboard works well but the mouse and touchpad do not function
properly when I use an application like Google Play store.
I am unable to position the mouse cursor
where I need it as the mouse will randomly stop moving.
Is anyone aware of an Android or device workaround for this?
Is there some way of resyncronizing the mouse/touchpad suport?
(The Userâs Manual Ver:08RF/2.2 is of no help.)
Updated to V5.0.0.190916 last night on my test machine and I've run into a issue. The live TV is not working correctly from the web interface. When a stream is started everything seems to go fine until about 4-5 min or so when the feed freezes. clicking the pause and then play gets things moving again but it starts over from whenever the stream was initially started. I've tested this from an android device and a Linux (chrome) browser. Both do the same thing. Kodi does not seem to be effected.
The files are created in the livetv directory, for example, the last test I ran from chrome in Linux created live-WAVY-HD-1229-6.ts & live-WAVY-HD-1229-6.ts.map and then continued creating subsequent files starting with -1 thru -3 with each being 85-100kb. At that point it froze and I had to hit pause/play to get it streaming but as before, it restarted the stream from when the session was initially started. It repeats the same process over and over each time going back to the initial stream start point. The attached logs show it doing this 3 times in a row.
Last night I installed the new version and ran the installservice.bat as an administrator. Everything seemed to be working, although I had no recordings scheduled and I don't recall if I tried watching live tv or looking at the guide or the settings. I shut down my pc as usual before going to bed, and found that it had awoken as usual this morning by the wakeup alarm in the BIOS. I noticed the NPVR tray icon was grey, and when I right clicked it and selected "show status" the window that opened was blank. After a while I clicked on the close window "x" icon and a message said "not responding". I clicked it a few more times and it closed, and the tray app icon also vanished.
I checked the service and it was running, so I opened the web page on the localhost and it showed the expected stuff at the top, but the main part just had the words "Available Storage Recent Recordings Upcoming Recordings", but no pictures of available space or the pending recordings. I opened the settings page and it looked normal for a bit but then a box popped-up that said "unexpected error loading settings".
I restarted the tray app and used it to bring up the dektop app, which looked fine for a few seconds and then displayed the message "unable to connect to the remote server". This is all on the same pc, by the way, both the client and backend. I right clicked and was able to access the settings, but I didn't try changing any. The recordings section of the desktop app showed the pending and recurring recordings, I have no available recordings because I delete them after watching or manually edit and convert them using other programs before moving them to my NAS.
All logs in "C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\logs" attached.
ps I can watch tv using VLC from its "universal plug 'n' play" section of the playlist.
pps All working as usual after I stopped and restarted the service from an administrative command line.
ppps I have NPVR installed in a folder called "Programs" in my user folder.

Minor problem. I just have one IPTV setup of many, many channels and an empty EPG. (not got round to tidying it up and chopping stuff)
I haven't used groups in the past so thought I would add a few favourites to a group called UK and make it manageable.
With nextpvr.exe I selected "UK" from the hidden menu and only the channels in the group UK showed up - Nice.
Played a channel and exited via ESC, but when it went back to the guide, it was teh full channel list and not the hoped for UK group.
Logs attached, but to my uneducated eyes, I see no mention of UK except in the channel name.
Trying to set up NextPVR server under Ubuntu 18.04, fresh install. When I try to scan channels on my HDHomeRun, with EPG from Schedules Direct, I get a dialog that just says "undefined", and no channels are added.
See attached screenshots.
(Probably the first question is whether my credentials are correct, I believe they are, tried about five times and verified credentials on Schedules Direct website)
Then browsed the Services explorer and found the service that was created but when I started it I got an "Error 87: Parameter is incorrect"
Obviously, I'm doing something wrong. I also tried just double clicking on NextPVRService.exe but that gave me an error saying that I needed to install the service first.
This is my first Linux NextPVR install. Used the wget & sudo apt install first with no web server. Second, installed and used curl, still a 404 local host. Please help!
