Hi,
I couldn't find any where on this forum that says I can't do this but I'd like to offer a few spare parts to any one interested. I'm in the UK (Southeast) but am preparded to post some items abroad.
I have up for grabs
A Cooler Master Cavalier CAV-T04-UK desk top case - very nice box - as new.
A spare Hauppauge WinTV PVR 350 in its box with all the bits and bods.
MSI KT6V MB - which I can chuck in an AMD XP2600 and quiet cooler as well.
Could also part with a 512Mb stick of ram and a Maxtor 120 SATA HDD to close a deal...
Don't hesitate to ask me further questions - make me an offer etc etc - I a week some of this stuff is going on ebay, with the aim of topping up my paypal account and make a donation to GB-PVR.
I use RenameRecording. If I record a show and then it's duplicated (for example The Oblongs on Adult Swim comes on twice the same night) the first one gets it's name changed, and the second doesn't. That is expected. When I look in the GBPVR's Recordings/Ready list, they both show up. I tried to delete the second one (un-renamed), but it instead deleted the first file, and they both were taken out of the Ready list.
My database is now 1.5GB ??? It was 320Mb, and now its suddenly this huge size. I only have about 30-40 channels defined if that many. I presume this huge size is why GBPVR is not starting any more (only 14Mb free). ouch. Help
Actually let me be more accurately, GBPVR will not access the TV Guide, the error I guess is
13/05/2005 09:00:13.529 ERROR [87] Failure in ChannelFactory::getShowsInTimePeriod(): The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time.
a picture is worth a thousand words. How can i get rid of this crap? Just in case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, please notice the red and green anomalies in the top right and lower left corner of the screencap. I get these (they are static - always there) whenever i playback widescreen DVDs or ISOs
Well....I got tired of waiting for WMA support via MVP so I started to convert my entire library over to MP3.
I got several directories converted, went into the gbpvr config utility, pointed it at my directories.
Everything show's up fine on the local gbpvr. But when I go into Music Library from the MVP there is nothing showing in the directories. If I only have one folder being monitored in gbpvr config I don't even see the music folders. As soon as I put 2 or more in I can see the folders but no music.
Any ideas on what would be causing this?
Similar to BootBlue2, but rounded icons, higher contrast selection colour. Download Here
If you have any problems, or wish this skin applied to other plugins that I may not have included, please post in the Skin/Plugin Support forum.
Hi, I love the theater listing plugin, great info/feel to it.
I am experiencing some problems though:
1. The Highlight/active selection is simply flat red, with no outline, even
with the blue skin.
2. After looking through a few movies, get an "out of memory" warning
and gbpvr becomes unresponsive.

Also, a couple of suggestions/requests:
I don't like the right arrow to activate the main options (current, update, main menu). I would prefer "right" to simply move into the listings.
Rearrange the keys/buttons for info scrolling. If you orient the review/exit buttons to be side by side(along the top perhaps), up/down can be used for scrolling the review/info.
These would make the theater listing feature more integrated with gbpvr(and not mess with my brain)
