when i'm trying to record from the EPG i have Trouble, it's look like everything OK - mark the program in red, create folder on the recording library and create mpg file, but the MPG file stay in 0 Byte and when i'm traying to cancel the recording i get the following message:
"failed to communicate with the Recording Sevice"
i cant cancel the recording even if i restart the recording service
(when i'm using quick record everything OK)
I am new to this and have a problem. I installed the Hauppauge PVR-150 and The Media MVP.
Everything worked fine both on the computer and the remote TV.
I then installed the GBPVR software and followed the instructions for set up.
Everything works except for the audio which is now absent from the remote TV and the computer.
I tried the different settings for the audio in the config screen but still no audio. I uninstalled the GBPVR software and the audio came back to the TV and computer.
Any ideas?
This is what came in the Retail Box: Hauppauge PVR150+IR Blaster+remote
I have a Dish Network DP301 box, and i am trying to use the IR Blaster that came with the pvr150.
When i try to use the remote to change the channel, IR blaster seems to be emitting the code but nothing happens on the dish box, it stays on the same channel, however it changes the channel on GBPVR which results in static noise.
I have already tried the Fix hauppauge remote options, nothing happens, same results.
I have a old 600MHz PII with 384MB memory, gigabit NIC and a RAID adapter. It provides fantastic performance as a file server.
Although I won't be watching TV on this PC I was wondering whether this PC will have a enough grunt to host 3xDVB-T cards and GBPVR to feed TV to other PCs. I may also use a MediaMVP.
Any opinions? Do you think I will need another PC to host GBPVR?
Any recommendations on which DVB-T cards I should use?
I doff my hat in the general direction of Sub, as I'm much impressed with GBPVR and especially the integration with MediaMVP.
I'm curious, if you've got a setup with multiple MVP's in the house, can a plugin detect/identify which is connected? I think the only identifier would be either the MAC or the IP, which suffices. Can a plugin get that information?
It would be nice to have possibility switch (loop through)
audio streams and subtitles during DVD playback
by hot key (remote): I mean not through menu.
It's much easy/faster and moreother for my DVD back up
I'ld really prefer don't keep menu.
As I understand windows DVD playback interface has
access to all streams (audio&subtitles) embedded in DVD.
Hi
Two weeks into GB-PVR and getting it setup just right but having a slight problem.
I down load from the Radio Times site for my EPG and find the listings for Motors TV is one hour out.
Is there a fix? Or what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
