I've currently got my system working fairly nicely with RF input via a coax cable.
I've bought a SCART to 4-pin s-video + audio phonos cable, and tried hooking it from both my Sky box and my VCR to the card. However, I could find no combination of settings on the 'capture source' config that would work. Can anyone advise?
On a related note - how does having multiple capture sources work? Does it require multiple cards? I can't see how it can work otherwise, but I'm probably missing something.
hi
i,m still fairly new to Gbpvr but have recently got everything working just the way i want it but have just one small problem left to solve.
I am using Bleb UK for the epg but am not getting British Eurosport lited in the tv guide. It is ticked in the configs update epg utility and appears on the Bleb UK website.
Any clues anybody?
First off, what a great piece of software GB-PVR is and the community behind it. I have made a small donation today and when my paypal account recieves some more funds from dodgy ebay sales I'll be donating some more funds - especially if someone solves this little stickler of a problem
Anyway, I have used DVD2MPEG to rip 3 other DVDs successfully.. but the last two have not gone as expected.
All is well until I try to play them back, either via My Video or XRecord - The Film wil start half way through the film and 12sec will be displayed in the OSD timer at the top of the screen? The film carries on as per normal. When I play the MPEG via PowerDVD it plays from the begining just fine?
Ive defragged the HDD thinking that the MPEG was split and GBPVR wasn't picking up the right files? but this made no differance. The other 3 DVDs I ripped before hand work fine.
I'm still to do some experimenting, like seeing what play back is like via WMP9 etc etc. But if anyone has any deas or come across this before I'll be interested to hear! have searched the forum exhastivly with no similer problem mentioned.
Thanks in advance

PS No error message is displayed - I haven't checked the log for any hints yet as I didn't think anything would show up.
I've been generally very pleased with GB-PVR, and to be able to remotely admin the server via http has been a very pleasant experience. But lately for some strange reason, I'm being denied my webadmin!
The error log shows:

Hmmm... What's "Constructor on type bt not found." mean?
This is my first time installing/configuring gbpvr. I must say, to this point, setup has been fantastically easy to understand and follow.
I have everything installed, even added some plugins successfully etc. I can watch live tv clearly without a problem and get proper sound. (although I noticed I don't get a channel info bar at the bottom when switching channels).
I only really have two major problems:
1) I can't seem to record live or scheduled television. It says it's recording and does save a file, but when I try to play it, just sits there. The screen doesn't shift, change, flickers etc. The File details box with the option to Play goes away and I'm brought back to the main file list. Subsequent attempts yield identical results.
1a) If I try to play the recording while it's actively recording, the screen blanks and I get audio only (choppy at that). Going back to gbpvr and stopping the recording and trying to play the file afterwards yields the same result as mentioned above.
2) DVD Playback. Screen blanks, no audio, no video. Hitting back on the remote a few times brings me back to gbpvr.
2a) To confirm operation outside of gbpvr, I installed VLC Media Player and successfully navigated and played a DVD that way.
I'm also having small problems with button mappings on my remote, but I'll save those for later as it's not nearly as important.
Thanks for any help, and sorry for the GBPVR ignorance. I've only really dealt with MSMCE2005 bloatware previously.
I have a new MVP Screen Size Plugin ready to download.

It now will read in the MAC addresses automatically. Thanks jasonf
It also make sure that the values you enter are integers and that they are divisible by 4. per sub's recommendation.
If you change an entry you will have to click on the validate button before it will let you click the OK button. You can cancel at any time.
After validation is clicked any Yellow background numbers are one that the program changed for you. They are now divisible by 4.
Any Red background numbers have some non numeric characters entered. These need to be fixed.
Currently does not let you add any new MAC address. Next version I hope.
